oh alg mines also an older chromebook with like 16gbs lol that's why I "upgraded" if you can call it that ha ha but alg 

you know you can run Linux on a Chromebook, right? that's what I use. Just use Shimboot and run it off either a USB or an SD card... just make sure you have at least 32GB+ of storage on the USB or SD card and of course preformance depends on the device
