...Soooo, I just experienced Bad Sun. I uh, I'm not entirely sure what I did, I didn't do anything crazy or anything....but, yeah I somehow became completely immune to the sun.

Maybe using the remote drone caused it?...The weather? I'm not entirely sure. It was weird...it was able to affect me in the first few in-game hours. But after that I noticed it stopped damaging me and forcing me to look at it if I got in view. Meta-Paranoia was still going, the flickering and dead trees were still there, but...yeah. lol

EDIT: ...I will say, I did record the event, guess I can post that in case anyone wants to try and figure out what happened. It was mostly a chill event, lol

https://youtu.be/wgXLuyWC35I

It's an event that happens at random.

He already said no.

yeah I know where and how beehives spawn, but my problem is getting them...hook doesn't work, gravity gun doesn't work...nothing works.

So, yeah...I made myself a bee box But, uh, how do you actually get a beehive? Do you just have to be super lucky on where it spawns or something? I found one but it's seemingly impossible to grab, I can't even use the hook in any way.

Bonus: Nothing to do with beehives, but...is there a way to get rid of coughing or am I just stuck with it for all eternity? lol

Noticed a small visual bug, the killer wisps. For whatever reason, sometimes they'll look fine, all bright and glowy with a sparkly trail and everything. But sometimes they end up just appearing as 3 yellow orbs. Confused me at first, I figured I just ran into a new entity that I couldn't find anywhere on the wiki, so I went to check it out and got killed and got an achievement, yup, it was a killer wisp. Tried messing with the graphic settings a bit to see if I could fix it, doesn't seem like nothing helps. Anyways just posting this here, it seems to only affect the killer wisps, all the others I've seen look fine.

...Also those Rozitals need to hurry up and take care of these damn things, my base has a killer wisp infestation and I can't leave to do work, one of them keeps patrolling around my building, it's driving me crazy. lol

...I feel like some people are...overreacting a bit too much. Yeah, the tutorial sucked, and the fact that it's FORCED on you before you can play the game sucks even more...but I wasn't stuck on it for hours. As for the signals, the only thing that confused me was the downloading. I eventually figured it out, though. The controls do need working but, I got used to them.

But just have Kerfur go "Weeeeeeeeee!" the entire time. lol

Yeah I already knew how it worked and everything, but I struggled hard getting something to shred and it never worked for me. They need to rework how the thing works.

Forgot about the option, think it's too late at this point though, pretty sure all of those events are done with unless they can also repeat, or if there's more.

As for the wood chipper, yeah in another thread I talked about how I couldn't get the thing to work, eventually just sold that thing after giving up on it. lol

But yeah, I'll try the crafting table and the saw.

Honestly, I thought I'd use this to help clean up the place, make some money here and there...it did say you're able to sell large and heavy objects like tables and stuff that cannot be put in the drone.

So...why is it not working? My signal room is just stuck with a bunch of knocked over desks, tables, and cabinets. Even those weird curtain things that I've thrown out in the hallway, nope, stuck with those, too. Am I missing something here? I feel like it's pointless to clean the place up a bit if I can't even get rid of knocked over furniture. I can't even fix the furniture, it's too heavy, so I'm stuck with stuff lying on the ground. Feel like the sell gun was a massive waste of money.

...Also even more pointless to clean and tidy the place up when a stupid obelisk crashes nearby and sends everything flying. Lost drives with signals on them from that, they just...poofed out of existence apparently. >_>

EDIT: ...Also, what's with the wiki home page being extremely laggy?

Honestly for the time thing, I just put the difficulty on easy, and the other time setting to 0.5 to make it even longer. Gives me way over an hour to do everything.

Found out about the game the same way, actually, I'm normally not into horror games, but this one seemed interesting to me for some bizarre reason. Had to reset a couple of times too, mainly because my first run my ATV ran out of fuel in the middle of nowhere...with no food and both my sleep and hunger was running out. >.>

At least I got to see the Insomaniac or whatever he's called, even though he didn't do anything. lol

I'll likely buy the game once it hits 1.0.

I kinda wished we could just create our own character instead.

...As others have said, not every single game NEEDS multiplayer. Developer already said multiplayer isn't happen9ing, deal with it, and move on.

...What's the shaking coming from then? I figured it was the coffee or something? Or is Kel just a wimp and everything is scaring him? xD

I never saw anything on the wiki about this, but does coffee have a minor secondary effect if you drink too much of it? My vision started getting really shaky at some point, and the only way to fix it was sleep. lol

You ran into a Wisp, there's various Wisps, Orange teleports you somewhere on the map and enables Mirror Mode. There are some Wisps that are actually dangerous though, so....just a warning.

https://voicesofthevoid.wiki.gg/wiki/Entities/Wisps

The graphic settings themselves will tell you how much resources they're using, turn the ones down that are "high" or "extreme"....maybe even "medium". But yeah, shadows are always the ones that can slow down any game. I don't have the best graphics card either, my game runs fine, though. (GTX 1050Ti)

Finding signals never bothered me, downloading was a confusing mess for me, though. As for the controls, I eventually got used to them, it still needs work, though.

Yeah I swear that I tried just hitting them before and they killed me. Why I made the thread because I was trying everything else, but I tried hitting it again and they didn't react so...I dunno. But yeah, they still show up constantly, they're just annoying now, I can try and destroy the bases too, I guess.

Been playing this for quite a bit now...I dunno if anything I have to say has been said already or not.

1. Mannequins: Okay I eventually found out that simply hitting them easily gets rid of them, fine...but, it does seem like a new one spawns every day, or right after booting up your save...they're not scary anymore, just...annoying. Which leads to the next thing...

2. Woodchipper: HOW DO YOU FREAKIN' USE THIS THING?! I gave it fuel, I tried sticking the damn mannequin in there "perfectly" after hearing they're good for resources...I cannot shred them at all. Honestly the mannequins just drive me insane in general, tone them down. lol

3. Better combat: ...I just fought the Abandoned Kerfur not too long ago...yeah I dunno...I feel like combat could use some work, I swear I've been hitting him constantly, but most of my attacks kept missing for some reason. I eventually just stood still and kept the thing against wall and hit him constantly, letting him stab me ten bajillion times. I don't even know how I survived that fight like that and the explosions you take. (I mean, yeah I had it on Easy difficulty, but still. >_>)

Now for my main suggestions...

KERFUR.

1. Better pathfinding: This guy gets stuck constantly, mainly when returning, and it's almost ALWAYS at that bridge. I also had a time where he got stuck in the river for some reason, near the fallen tree, maybe have him stick to the roads or something when returning at least?

2. OMFG STAY STILL DAMMIT!: I know he's on one wheel and is trying to stay standing, but it's just annoying when you're trying to click on him and stuff and he's bouncing all over the place. lol

3. Charging Base: He's a robot, a charging base would just make sense, once he's done with his stuff he can move right to the base and shut itself off instead. (plus the base could keep him from falling down when turned off)

4. Let us name out Kerfurs: ...Because, uh...yeah I dunno. lol

...Yeah I just tried the woodchipper, even gave it SOME fuel at least since I'm running out of stuff...I put the damn thing in there, turned it on....and the mannequin just....sits there. This is irritating...

At this point, we need a "Disable Mannequin" setting or something, they're not even scary anymore, they're just infuriating. The first one I don't even know how I managed to kill in one hit after it burned in the incinerator or whatever that thing is. But the second one I encountered, that doesn't work anymore, even placed boxes and stuff by the door and they still break out after a few minutes and kill me. Tossing them into a river sorta works, but the moment I boot the game up, he reappears to haunt me. It's like he's invincible, and all it takes is getting hit once and I lose my weapon, and I'm killed right after. Making me not want to play this game anymore, which sucks because aside from them, the game is fun and interesting. But...yeah...make them way less common and annoying, PLEASE. T.T

Also, why doesn't that incinerator thing work on them, fire should burn them to a crisp in seconds, NOT MAKE THEM STRONGER! >:c

Only saw videos of this, didn't know someone made a remake of it on here...decided to give it a go...as expected, nothing makes sense, everything is weird and bizarre...no idea what I'm doing. I don't get this game...which is...kinda the point. lol
