Soul was located in a place after beating that one shot flying drone. Then you had to look for a small barely visible way to the right, there was a small "outdoors section" with soul, its hidden pretty good and there is those hard to beat "golems". It's fairly eraly in game, i havent played it in a while, probbaly in world of Lir or something like that.

Yup, you got Age of Dusk ending and true ending, third one is that Esbeth gets out of dungeon but "darkness may come back" (it's sane picture as Esbeth in common clothes) and the easiest one is just at the start of the game go to the exit of dungeon while not finding idol and just running away.
There is one with sword and I found another one in game files named marriage. I dunno how to get both of them tho.
Oh, OK, you've been to the swamp already? If not, you have to get soul of man or smth like that, its located in archives, go to room you unlocked with portrait pieces, then go all the way down and to the right, in there will be opened door, enter and take soul of man. After that go back to hub area, go all way up and in left doors, there go all way to the left again, then you will enter limbo, go through it until you find door, enter it, there go down and use soul of man, you will appear on swamp, from the place you have appeared go up and left until you see that pedestal, use it, but beware, there will be boss, and after that go to that boss that I mentioned earlier, the one before final boss.
So if I understand it right you got 3 pedestals out of 4? Right?
The last one is not gonna dissappear if you miss it, it's almost at very end of the game, in corridor of Prince's chambers, there will be a corridor to the left, and another room, in that room there will be (different) giant knight with cutscene. Beat him and in same room behind him there will be destructible wall with last pedestal. And you are good to go👍
In hub area, go up and to the right, there will be infinite corridor, go through it 5-7 times and you will end up in forbidden grounds, there all way to the left will be door to conjuring world Lir, there will be red flying thing-oneshot-boss, beat it by using levers. After that you will get transported to another dark place, there will be few hard enemies, but you can go past them and in first room all way to the right there will be small barely visible corridor, enter it, there in outdoors location go all way down and get Esbets soul, after this proceed further as I written above👍
And there will actually be one more boss, almost in the end of game, there will be idol in wich you put kings emblem, it will teleport you to other place, IMMEDIATELY go all the way to the left and destroy wall to get to pedestal, this one is crucial too because it can lock out you if ending too. So beware.
By the way, if you do accidentally miss some of steps, you can use save editor as last resort.
Do not put remembrances of major bosses on that pedestal in hub.
They can be exchanged for some extremely valuable loot.
Especially remembrance of fear and remembrance of Shiva.
Remembrance of fear can be used on those temporary save spots where you do fetus deletus. It gives you option what you want to upgrade, take endurance and you will get +10 agility(!).
And remerance of Shiva gives you extremely powerful amulet if you give it to pyromancer in hub area.
Ok
So after completing game 4-5 times I can tell you.
First ending, after running from black beast just into next room, go back into same room where black beast was, don't worry he is gone. Go all the way up and enter next room, there will be save statue and beside it there will be a door on the right, enter and go all the way up. Congrats, you got first ending
Second ending, before beating last boss you have to get basement key to tainted chapel which you can get from snake man in swamp beside elevator, there you will fing sword of vow, after that kill last boss and interact with his body, voilà.
Third ending, kill last boss, there will be fire, interact with it and you'll find elevator wich leads to same room from first ending, again go into right door and all the way up, third one complete.
Fourth, hardest one. After running away from flying red thing in conjuring world Lir, there will be hole in wall, enter it, there will be a small corridor to the right enter it and you will be transported to outdoors location, at end of it there will be Esbets Soul, take it, its crucial because if you won't take it now you can't come to this location again which locks you out of this ending.
Next, play game normally, until you get to catacombs where you have to put 4 Blood of Sovereign on pedestals, beside there will be Save statue and Idol, enter it but immediately go to the left until you find an breakable wall, break it, enter and ascend Esbets soul on pedestal . This one is crucial to do because if you kill boss of this area you can't get it. Next, on swamp there will be same pedestal, beat the boss, use pedestal, all good. Last one, in last location there will be boss, huge "Tower Knight", after killing him, behind him there will be illusory wall, enter, search for pedestal, ascend your soul and of course beat last boss. Congratulations! You have True Ending.
There is Fifth ending, with Valka sword, but I could trigger it, so i can't help with this one.
Good luck!
So, for anyone still wondering how to get through beginning of the game and about combat I have some insight on what I have found out myself while playing.
At the beginning after you get to hub area, there will be torch, take it immediately.
After taking torch, go back to crossroad, go top and right to "seemingly infinitely looping" corridor, go through it 7-9 times and you will unlock forbidden grounds go to the left and up into doors to supplies room, go all the way up until you find elevator, use it, go down and unlock shortcut to hub area, now go back to supplies room and search for graveyard key when you get it go back to hub area, save game, always do it in hub area, trust me. Now get out of save room and on crossroads go down, in next room go to the right and unlock graveyard. Go through graveyard as usual and loot stuff until you find *angelic voice singing "HEAVY ARMOR" *. Congratulations, now you can have a chance to fight against monsters of these dungeons. But be ready, you can withstand lots of damage and even mostly nulify damage from first boss Minotaur all enemies will have always extra turn against you, but if you have lots of healing and this armor, you'll manage. Oh and first major boss, Varn, (the one after Minotaur) will be a lot more manageable if you have this armor.
So armor means A LOT. Yeah, you can be slow, but at least alive and kicking.
Items are randomized, which means you can save at hub area and go to weapon chest as much times as possible till you get weapon that you want by reloading save.
Status effects are good, but not as reliable.
So stack that armor and counter percentage at any possible moment, trust me it makes game SO MUCH MORE EASIER.
After beating Minotaur I couldn't find how to get out of that arena, so I'll help you, there will be few jail cells, in one of them there will be hole in a wall, get in it. Voila! You are finally out.
If you just got infection status (brown square with some black lines) just reload save file. Yes, it can be cured by alcohol but it is NOT GUARANTEED that you will cure it when you will drink wine, which is dumb as hell, so better hold on to that wine like it's your firstborn child. Just reload save and try to avoid it at any cost. ESPECIALLY THE DAMN NAILS.
After beating minotaur you will unlock ability to aquire skills, some of them are ridiculously strong, which is good in game like this, some of them absolutely useless. So I'll tell about ones I'm using.
I don't remember names so I'll just describe them,here :
- you always attack twice but your hunger (guts) will lose 10 points each time. Trust me, it's a total game changer, take it, you'll thank me later.
(there is another one that gives you a double attack, DO NOT take that one, people say it's bad, really bad)
-randomly you will have a possibility to "cut enemy limbs". Take this one too, it's a free attack and strong debuff on enemy, only bad thing about it is that it's activates randomly but that's not a problem if you have "angelic voice singing " HEAVY ARMOR"* and you can tank a damage and stay alive for long time in battle.
- You are never getting attacked on your first turn. No. It does not work, don't waste your skill points
- You won't receive damage when you recede. Nope, doesn't work too.
-You will heal 10 hp every turn but you'll lose 10% of your max hp. TAKE IT. It's very good, and there is an item *name about something moon* that heals you for 10 hp. Use this skill and that item and you will have +20 hp ON EVERY TURN. Pretty neat.
- 20% counter. Take it, it's always great, I'm trying to get more counter % to see how far it can go.
-when you guard 3 times you get one free guard. It kinda works, but nothing impressive.
-when you guard attack with less than 50 damage, it gets countered. I mean it's alright.
- you get 10 guts after every battle. It's great with a build I'm explained here. Helps to use less food.
And that's it for the skills that I got myself. There a lot of others, but I skip lot of them because they basically useless.
Now on combat. Advancing and receding is quite important. Your weapon has range. Enemy's weapon has range, use that. For example, first major boss Varn. If you stay close to him he will miss most of the attacks, if he goes on middle or far range, you are probably dead. But if you have lots of counter, as per my build you can provoke enemies on certain range so they will do certain attacks wich is very good.
Always check the walls if they are illusory ones. EXCEPT THE ONE IN INFINITE CORRIDOR, IT BUGS THE GAME SO YOU CAN'T ENTER OTHER ILLUSORY ROOMS AND DIE.
Upgrade your weapons, if you have claymore and upgraded it you can cary it in one hand and have torch in other one(!). They get small damage buff and stuff like that.
Always, if there is possibility, backstab enemies. Especially rats, to hell with the rats. To do it more easier, you can come to them from behind, and then hold shift and run on them, even if you are only one block behind them.
Puzzles, here some I got from here.
Clock - 1206
Levers beside doll maker room - Left, right, center.
For now I got two major bosses and I'm stuck in the damn archives looking for damn pieces of painting. I need 4 and I have 3. I can't find it. I just can't. And funniest thing is, their location is RANDOMIZED on every playthrough. So yeah, I'm kinda losing my mind right now.
So yeah, I hope at least SOMEONE will find this rambling of mine useful and try this cruel, but fun game.
If will get some new worth of mention stuff, I'll probably add it here because we do not have wiki or anything.
Good luck!
Hey, im SUUUPER interested in ths engine, I'll try it out today for sure, but before that i have few questions:
1. Does billboarding supported ? Can i make Billboard Enemies/Player (like good old doom) ?
Nevermind, just watched video on your channel that clearly shows that its possible. GREAT STUFF!
2. So if i understand this right, i can sell games i made on this engine?
3. Will there be some video tutorials for engine?
4. Is it really hard to make third person perspective in this engine? I know you pointed out that it is POSSIBLE, but will it be too hard for newb like me?
Very excited to try out this engine and the new one that you teased on your channel!
Thanks and have a GREAT day!
