I think your laptop is not the reason for your issues. This game is intentionally pretty dark, but there are light switches in every room and also a flashlight in the first room for the player. To open the door you have to find the key in the first room which is hidden in one of the drawers. After the Game Jam I probably add some brightness settings and turn the amount of trash down! Still thank you for testing my game and I hope that you maybe give it another try!

You're absolutely right about the inventory tutorial and the bugs you mentioned. I'll keep these things in mind and work on fixing them as I continue developing the game.
