Hello! I’m Avie, and I’m currently starting a small game project (working title: VeilShift).

Right now, I’m the only one on the team, and I’m looking for people who might be interested in building this project together ^^7

About the Project

This is a fast-paced escape survival game inspired by Bian Lian Mask (face-changing).

You play as a skilled infiltrator escaping a locked-down facility while being pursued. The core mechanic revolves around switching masks during a run, each changing your playstyle—but once you switch, there’s no turning back.

Genre: Action / Survival / Escape (Top-down)

Core Focus: Movement, tension, and decision-making

- Soul Knight

- Bian Lian Mask

Roles I’m Looking For (I will be only accepting those that are in the ages 18+ since I'm more comfortable with that)

Producer / Project Manager (1)

- Help organize the team, timeline, and tasks

- Keep development on track and support coordination

Unity or Godot Programmer (1–2)

- Gameplay systems (movement, masks, basic AI)

2D Artist (1–2)

- Character sprites + environment assets

- Stage layouts and pacing

- Small, focused project (around 4 levels)

About the Project:

The game is a psychological horror mixed with romance and it has two perspective top down 2D and 2D side scroller.

Top down 2D: It is used for exploration

2D side scroller: This is for combat

Storyline:

The story is about the main character meeting with Yuki in the university at school and you go around the school like a small tutorial like how the game works for example there would be like school lessons, a club activities depending which lessons you chose or if you want you can choose other club that is not related from which lesson you chosen, etc.

Then after the school you would go in an alleyway and chat a bit, that is until Yuki gets killed by a clone and you realise you are dealing with clones and the clone you meet first as the first villian is crazy Yuki. You as the player need to find out why there are clones as you would also meet other clones in game and find the mystery why are there clones.
