Great idea and i liked the theme and narrative part. But honestly the gameplay was a little hard as it was difficult to adjust and manage the scale. I'm not sure if it's correct, but maybe making it physics based could be causing these issues, so you might have to "fake" the scale animation? Anyway it's still good work!
That was a bit too fast for me, I think it could be toned down a little (getting to the exit was difficult). But i do get the game play you were hoping for, which was suppose to be fast and filled with movement, and i can see that in the layout design (large open spaces to run). I guess it wasn't designed to be played "traditionally" ie continuous press to move, but instead in bursts ie short key presses?
Nevertheless it's a nice execution to the theme for sure. The visuals and audio were good and so was the UI layout. Good work to the team!
Nice and simple game play mechanic, i played from the browser and the bottom half seems cutoff so i wasn't sure if there was any health bar or score? (would have been good if those were added if missing). Also, seems like the bottom half of the playing field was off limits to the player and if so would have liked it shown visually. Anyway good work on the submission!
Great concept and idea! Thankfully you had both the arrow keys and A/D for controls as i could use both hands to play this (it got too tiring with 1 hand :P). I think if you could zoom out a little more it would have be great, if possible ... you know .. not saying that i want it easier, but if you possibly could ... some time .. in the future... And also needs audio :)
While it might be a simple game it was good fun! I liked the premise and it fits the theme! The visual and audio were good! I did find the fence to be a death trap though, but i prevailed and won! (would be a great addition if you could also add something similar as the starting intro screen for the ending). I did have some problem when the dog got too long, as the visuals didn't follow the head. You might have to zoom out a little more? But good execution and well done!
It's simple in premise but good execution. The visuals might look basic but i think it works with the theme you were aiming for, along with the audio. The first round of tutorial was a great addition. I think the controls can be optimized a little, or make it feel slightly more natural? I'm not sure how to put it honestly, maybe it just needs to be a bit more "heavy' or "weighty". But otherwise good work!
