I really love your concept and art style! I found the hidden bomb, but I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do after that.

This idea is so creative! This is the first time I've seen someone break the 5-seconds rule from the perspective of bacteria. I like the mechanic where a bacteria landing on food increases all the remaining time. As the number of food items grows later in the game, they could easily block the ones in the corners, so I think this is a really clever solution. I ended up playing it for much longer than I expected. Nice work!

The sound effects and movement of the claw felt incredibly realistic. The difficulty progression was really well balanced. It gradually became more challenging without ever feeling unfair.  I've always felt that balancing a game like this is harder than it seems, so great job! I'm glad a few hits by the toys don't mean game over. Otherwise, I would've died pretty quickly.  After I learned how to stun and throw them, I was able to survive much longer.

Such a polished and well-designed game. I had a lot of fun playing it!

Thank you for taking the time to write such a thoughtful comment.

I currently have an elderly pet at home, and I've also spent time caring for injured insects. The one I cared for the longest was a cricket I found almost frozen in my garage during the winter. After reading everything I could find, I realized it had almost no chance of surviving if I released it back into the wild, so I decided to bring it home instead. You can probably imagine me wrapping Christmas presents with a cricket chirping beside me. It was such a unique Christmas, and I'll never forget it.

I did my best to make its remaining time as comfortable as possible. When it eventually reached the end of its natural lifespan, all I could do was watch it grow weaker until it passed away. It's a helpless feeling, but at the same time, I knew it was simply part of nature, and that I had done everything I could.

At first, I didn't connect the countdown theme with this idea, so I ended up spending quite a bit of time exploring other directions. Then, during the jam, I came across an injured firefly and brought it home to care for. It survived for two days before it passed away, and that's when this idea came to me. I just didn't have enough time to finish those details within the jam's deadline.

Thank you for the suggestion! I agree that adding more animations and audio would make the experience even better! And I'd like to add Ruben, my cricket who passed away, to the game as well. It feels like a nice way to remember him.

I found this game really satisfying to play. I still remember when all the birds suddenly started attacking me, and I was running away so desperately. It's such a polished and complete game. I had a lot of fun playing it!

I'm sorry for putting such a heavy topic into the game. I thought the cockroach part would make the game feel a little less heavy. Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to play my game. It really means a lot to me.

105 is my best score! As a math major, it made me feel right at home. This is the first time I've seen a game based on this idea, haha. I thought it was a really creative one!  Great job!

I'm not sure why my results screen showed "null year" and "null money." It might be a bug... or maybe I'm just that broke. I really loved your art style! One small piece of feedback: the outline of the drop area felt a little subtle, so at first I thought I couldn't drag things into it. Once I realized I actually could, everything worked fine.

I didn't figure out how to trigger the ending until my second play. I overthought it so much that I couldn't believe the gardener was the murderer. The final dragging sequence and the thin thread connecting everything together looked absolutely amazing. Great job!

Thanks for playing! Glad you had fun ;)

I laughed so hard when I saw the line, "The dev ran out of time and only wrote the transmitter path."  If it were me, I probably would have written something like that very seriously in the game too, haha! I also made a VN game before, so I know how impressive it is to create this much dialogue within 48 hours. Writing branching conversations takes so much time.

The ending felt really heavy, but it also felt like it was asking a question like if there is truly no choice left in the end, what kind of attitude would you choose to face it with?  Very nice work! I had fun playing it!

Thanks for playing!  The fact that you build little homes for your isopods is already so adorable. I didn't expect my game to remind you of that, so reading your comment made me really happy. Thank you so much for your kind words!

Yay! That makes me so happy. Thank you!

I'm still not entirely sure whether I was attacking my buddy—I think I probably were.  Really enjoyed the game, though! Everything felt very polished, and the gameplay was smooth.

I'm sorry to say the bugs in the game were based on insects I actually found in real life and wasn't able to save (except for the cockroach ...). I guess that's just how life is. We can't always save them, but maybe during the final countdown of their lives, we can still choose to do something to make them a little more comfortable. Thank you for playing! And thank you for caring about these little creatures. That's very kind.

Sure! Thanks for playing!

This was a bit more challenging than I expected for a flipping game, but I really enjoyed some of the twists you came up with. The music was chill, too.  Nice work!

This is my favorite entry so far! Your storytelling and your music were incredible.

I didn't expect the story to be this heavy at first. What struck me most was how the game made me think about memory and existence. So many things we take for granted while we're alive, even the things we dislike, can become the very proof that we were here, that we didn't simply fade away. But by the time we manage to piece those memories back together, the life that gave them meaning may already be gone. That thought stayed with me long after I finished the game.

The moment the man jumped somehow reminded me of YOASOBI's "Racing Into the Night." I absolutely loved your music! If you're ever interested and have the time, I'd genuinely love to collaborate on another game jam with you sometime in the future!

Hey, thank you so much for playing! I honestly didn't expect my interpretation of the theme to be understood on that level, so reading your comment made me really happy. I'm also sorry I didn't have enough time to add any audio, but thank you so much for your kind words! ;)

Thanks for playing! I love your game as well ;)

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you noticed my take on the theme, haha.

This was more challenging than I expected, in a good way. Great job! I had a lot of fun playing it!

I wasn't able to finish it because I tend to get motion sick pretty easily with games like this, sorry about that. That's entirely on me. I have the same issue with lots of other games, so please don't take it as criticism. Maybe a slightly longer countdown would be nice.

I really enjoyed the notepad mechanic, sound effect and the overall story was super cool. Such a creative puzzle game!

Thanks for playing!  I also feel a little bit bad for the cockroach. (No, I don't, haha)

I also wish I'd had time to add some music. I'll probably do that after the rating period ends.

Thanks again for your kind words!

Had lots of fun! It has a surprisingly good amount of content for a jam game.I loved that little bit of grace time when driving to the finish. I was sure I'd lost, but I still managed to make it. Also, the 3D art style in a 2D (or 3D?) game looks super cool.

Thanks for playing! Glad you had fun.

Thanks for playing!

Haha, thanks for playing! You found all the little secrets I hid! I remember hydrangeas are the only flowers that can change from pink to blue because coffee is acidic. Gardenias like acidic soil too, so they might bloom more. It's based on an old gardening myth, but please don't try this in real life.

Your game really captures the kind of vibe I think the jam was going for. Love your work!

Thanks for your playing and your nice words :)

There’s nothing particularly strange about this school for now. But later on, as more suspicious things are discovered, some things might have already happened. Before the ending is revealed, it’s always hard to tell what’s really going on. That’s partly what I wanted to express. Thanks for playing this game! Also, thank you for trying to protect Maddie :)

Your original idea that feeding pigeons while playing on your phone really feels closer to real life. Would you let them fly onto your hand? Really looking forward to your future updates!

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! I wasn’t able to fully capture the cozy theme during the jam period. The cozy part might actually come after the sweet ending, which isn’t included in this demo. I originally made this game with a feeling of sadness in mind, so I think you really captured that well!

The conversations and story were written in a rush and were inspired by my daily chats with my daughter, so they feel a bit temporary. I plan to rewrite all the dialogue and adjust the shaking effects to better fit the story.

Since I made everything by myself. My goal for myself is to experimented with the shaking effects and the dialogue nodes. This demo is so rough to me. I kind of feel sorry that it gave players a sense of stress rather than coziness.

I thought I had defeated a special pumpkin, and that’s why I suddenly gained the invisibility skill, haha.  It was really cute.

The art in this game looks really beautiful. I finally realized that I added too much coffee at the beginning. Such a nice and cute game

I collected all the seed! I really like the way the leaves move, I’ve always loved stepping on fallen leaves. And it seems like the seeds are hidden under piles of leaves. I got lost at first too, so later I started searching from left to right, top to bottom. The colors in this game are very soft and soothing. Nice work!

After I figured out that the mushrooms with smiling faces are safe, while the ones with mad faces are poisonous, it wasn’t so hard to make it to the end. This is truly a cute perfect game!

The music in this game is amazing, and the idea of bringing back the colors of autumn is really cool. I like their dialogue, too. Overall, the vibe, art, and music are all fantastic!

Thanks for playing! I’ve thought about a really creepy ending, or maybe one of the possible endings being quite creepy. But I’d still prefer to keep everything from feeling too heavy. Depending on when the player leave, there will be different gains and losses. Thanks for your nice words ;)

Aww, thanks for understanding!
