This is a really clever take on the countdown theme. Instead of racing against a timer, you're actually programming your future abilities around one. I loved the feeling of setting up my clock and then adapting my gameplay around the timings I'd chosen. It creates some really interesting strategic decisions while still being fast-paced and fun.
Really interesting combination of deckbuilding, puzzle mechanics, and the countdown theme. I liked how every card placement felt important because once you commit and hit CountDown, you have to live with your decisions. The increasing quotas created a nice sense of tension, and I found myself constantly trying to optimize my board more efficiently. Great concept and a strong interpretation of the theme
Really clever puzzle concept! Having the boxes count down every time you push them adds an interesting layer of planning that goes beyond traditional box-pushing games. I found myself thinking several moves ahead to avoid ruining a solution. The countdown mechanic fits the jam theme perfectly, and the puzzles were satisfying to figure out.
Really fun concept! I liked how the countdown pressure came from falling toward the ground rather than a traditional timer. Grabbing people and objects while trying to control your descent created some genuinely tense moments. The controls felt smooth, and it was satisfying to save multiple people in a single run.
Great first game jam project! since this is your first gam jam, i will try to give good feedback. The 15-second timer creates immediate tension and fits the countdown theme perfectly. I liked how each level felt like a small puzzle where I had to quickly figure out the correct route before time ran out. It's a simple concept, but it's executed well and stays fun throughout.
This was a really entertaining take on the countdown theme. Having to constantly keep the monster fed creates a sense of urgency without relying on a traditional timer. I liked balancing farming efficiency with making sure the monster didn't get too hungry. The concept is simple but works very well, and the monster adds a lot of personality to the game.
Really clever interpretation of the countdown theme. I liked how death wasn't just a failure state but an actual mechanic that helped you progress through the level. The movement felt smooth, especially the dash, and exploring the map to find the cure was fun. My only suggestion would be to make the remaining lives and poison timer a bit more visible, as those are such important mechanics. Great job overall! keep up the good work!
Really fun platformer! The concept of a vampire pillow racing against the sunrise is creative and fits the countdown theme perfectly. The movement felt responsive, especially the combination of double jumping and gliding. I also liked how the dawn constantly pushed me upward, creating tension throughout the entire run. The boss fight was a great climax. My only suggestion would be to make some enemy attacks slightly easier to read, but overall this was a very enjoyable entry. Keep up the good work!
I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this game. The contrast between the peaceful village setting and the constant feeling that something terrible might happen was very effective. The writing did a great job building tension even during ordinary conversations, and the art style fit the mood perfectly. I also liked how the "countdown" theme was interpreted through anxiety and anticipation rather than a literal timer. My only suggestion would be to add a few more interactive choices that have visible consequences, but overall this was a memorable experience.
