Hi! I just made Baralho Marcado public. It's two card games from Brazilian tables, playable in the browser on desktop and phone:
- Truco: a loud bluffing game for 2 or 4 players. Call truco with the best card in the deck, or with nothing, and see who folds first. Then raise it to six, nine, twelve.
- Pontinho: a rummy-style game. Make sets and runs, use wild cards, and go out first.
What makes it different:
- Online Truco: make a room and send the code to your friends, or join the queue and play with whoever's around (1v1 or 2v2). If someone drops, the computer takes their seat.
- A rigged deck: between matches you can buy tricks at the market to peek at cards or mess with your opponents. Or play classic mode, with no tricks at all.
- Pixel art of a Brazilian bar table, with characters who talk while they play.
- In English, Portuguese and Spanish. Free, nothing to install.
Play it here: https://krugerrgabriel.itch.io/baralho-marcado
It's still in development, so I'd love feedback: bugs, house rules from where you play, or tricks that feel too strong. Thanks for taking a look!
