Looks great! Might be the first issue without one of my games in... I've been slacking :-D :-D

Thank you for letting me know - it means a lot to me. I don't make games for awards but I'm happy when my crazy ideas are appreciated :-)

Just a follow-up comment to thank everyone at Break Space magazine for their kind words, Ace award and placement right before the "Flappy" type in which I think is a masterpiece of magazine arangement (and from reading the Spectrum Computing forums is well worth typing in and giving a go next time I have a few spare minutes).

Thank you all again!

Thank you for the kind words and glad you're enjoying it. I've enjoyed reading FREEZE-ZX so will look forward to seeing it pop up in a future issue.

I know the twitchy nature of these sorts of games can be a bit marmite; thanks for giving it a go and for sharing the video - always appreciated.

Thanks for the comment and for sharing the video. Every month we get so many fun gamesdor this little rubber keyed wonder.

Thanks for the kind comment and for sharing the video

Thanks for the comment and for sharing the video!

Thank you for sharing the video and the comment; this was a game I wanted to put together a few years ago and I had the crazy idea of trying to get a 2 player version working - which took a little head scratching. Thanks again!

Thanks for the positive comment :-)

Yes  - this is released (I just saw your comment and realised I'd flagged it as in development and forgot to change it when I made the last update (March 18th I think that was).

Yep, it is safe to review and add it to the database.

not bad - not bad; almost 100 lines.  (This makes me think I should have added bonuses for hitting a certain number of lines, like 100)

Thank you!

Thank you for sharing the video - it looks like you were getting the hang of things :-)
Have a good rest of the week!

Thank you! I seem to be in my single screen puzzle / platform / arcade phase at the moment :-) I had a little break over Christmas, but I'm planning to go back and finish off some of my games that were 50-90% written (fingers crossed).

Thank you ! Enjoy!

Thank you for sharing - looks like a good bunch of games last month. (And I think a good year all told for Spectrum games!)

Looks like you were starting to get the hang of things there. Thanks for sharing the video!

Thank you :-)

Well done in getting to the end! (And snapshots are always fine if available - it's nice seeing someone else get to the end and showing that all the levels can be beat). Thank you for sharing!

Thank you !

Thanks for sharing! Looks like you were starting to get the hang of things. Hope you have a good (retro) Christmas!

Sorry I missed this one - thank you so much for sharing :-) Glad you enjoyed the game and hopefully after you recorded the video, you started finding keys. The object randomly appear (and yes, toadstools kill you). That was an interesting life glitch - they don't usually keep re-appearing like that. There are set locations that the keys can turn up in, but these are randomised at the start. You can't kill the snails and snakes, but they should move away from you when you have the sword out). When they flash it's a hint that  there is a key either above/below or to the left/right - which can sometimes help.

Thank you again, and hope you have a great Xmas.

Good luck with the next games!

thank you for sharing the review - I'll have to give it a watch later as it looks like you covered a lot  of games and had fun! Thank you for sharing!

thank you for including a few of my games. It's been a good year for games this year. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for including some of my games; there's been a great selection of games this year and still a couple of months to go. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for sharing the video - looks like it was another good month for games! Lots of great looking ones in there.

Thank you! Glad you liked it!

Thank you! I'll keep my eyes open for the magazine. :-)

Thank you for the nice comment and for sharing the video.Have a good rest of the week. Thanks!

Thank you! Yeah it was definitely inspired by it; Sabre Wulf was the 2nd game I played on the Spectrum BITD ... there were more bits I wanted to implement, but ran short of memory for it.
Regarding the keys - their location changes every game (16 possible screens they can be in).
Good luck!
