Thank you for trying my game and leaving feedback. Your point makes perfect sense, and it's exactly what I tried to incorporate into this type of game. From a simple arcade shooter, I tried to add a strategic component, that is, choosing which type of enemy to focus on at the beginning to collect the type of material needed for the upgrade you deem necessary to facilitate the progression, all while trying to take as little risk as possible due to limitations of movement, the short range of projectiles, and the possibility of self-destruction. Regarding the enemy projectiles, which are similar to dropped materials, I'm aware of this and will change their form as soon as possible.
Thanks for trying the game. Regarding the short projectiles, it was a design choice because, with the lengthening of the string combined with the projectile power-ups, the game would have been too easy, allowing you to spam the projectiles and destroy the alien ships before they even became visible. Otherwise, I should have implemented a shot limiter, such as overheating the cannons. Regarding the destruction of the collection shuttle, I should have made the enemy projectiles differently shaped and more distinguishable, but I haven't had time to change them in three days. Thanks so much for the feedback; I'll make some changes as soon as I have some time.
Thank you so much for taking the time to try out my game. I've been looking for an alternative way to use the jam theme with a basic vertical scrolling shooter. I thought of that system as a way to make the genre a little more challenging, given that it's 2026, and I was worried that a simpler mechanic would be boring these days. :P
I tried it and I can say that the graphics are captivating, the mechanics are interesting, but I'm not sure what to do other than hold out as long as possible. I tried moving the two pawns above the red buttons, but as soon as the electrical connection turns red, you're teleported back to the starting point. The only thing left to do was kill the enemies and hold out :D
