Sorry, WAV to VGM isn’t supported. It would be very difficult to reconstruct chip commands from audio, so it’s probably beyond the scope of Tetorica.

I tried generating PMD-style MML from my VGM Analyzer and loading it into OPNAVOID: https://kyorohiro.github.io/tetorica-fm-archive/neogeo/Fatal-Fury-King-of-Fighte...
This example is based on the Neo-Geo “Neo-Geo Logo” track. The generated MML uses FM parameters observed in the VGM data, with notes quantized to 1/16-note intervals.
SSG and ADPCM are currently omitted, so this is still an experimental OPNAVOID-compatible export rather than a complete PMD conversion.
Thank you for making OPNAVOID! It’s been very useful for testing this.
Hi everyone!
I recently released Tetorica Retro Player.

It started with a simple question:
Why do old anime, VHS tapes, and retro games feel different today?
Modern displays are sharp and clean. But many of the things I loved were created for CRT televisions, noisy radio audio, and low-resolution screens.
So instead of restoring old media, I tried recreating the experience of watching it.
Tetorica Retro Player can apply:
- CRT scanlines
- Phosphor glow
- Low-resolution scaling
- Dithering
- Radio / Lo-Fi audio effects
- Video recording
to videos, images, and even live screen captures.

Some of my favorite moments have been watching modern content through retro presets and discovering that it feels surprisingly different.
Recent additions
- Chrome Extension version
- Neon Mode
- Phosphor Dot simulation
- Enhanced Lo-Fi audio filters
I’m still actively experimenting and adding features.
I’d love to hear what kind of retro display or audio effects you’d like to see.
Thanks for checking it out!
