Thoughts for the Future of the Story (SPOILER WARNING)
Reading this VN has been amazing, watching Lucian learn more about Equalizers and TSG and finally learning what the hell he's been dealing with all this time. Since I recently finished reading Ch. 8, I have some thoughts about where this story could go...
Considering this is a horror VN, I believe that LUCIAN WILL BECOME A MEMBER OF THE TSG AND DE-UNIFY STRADIA. The reasons are listed below.
1. In Ch. 4, we learn that there was a fox with a thousand aspects that brought about the Grand Unification. Funnily enough, Lucian also has a thousand aspects; however, it seems his original aspect, Dargan, is more barbaric and feral, especially with how it mentioned eating Fabian in Ch. 3 and then talking about how James's partner (a horse) tastes so good in Ch. 6. This aligns with the core principles for TSG.
2. In the more recent chapters (5-8), a lot of other characters have been calling the main character selfish: Darius, Catherine, James, and more. Shoutout to Alpha Dragonborn for bringing up the fact that no one is trying to understand Lucian's struggles and isolating him further, thus making it more likely for him to lean into his dark aspect.
3. Considering a fox with a thousand aspects brought about the Grand Unification, and Lucian possesses the same amount with a darker aspect (Dargan), it's not a coincidence that a fox with a thousand aspects could undo the Grand Unification.
4. Considering the other 999 aspects Lucian possesses are able to transfer themselves to other people, and this is more conspiracy territory, but what if the ancient fox learned how to transfer his other aspects to other people to manipulate them and get them to bring about the Grand Unification? If so, Lucian probably might do the same thing: transferring his other aspects to influential people (or people, in general) to bring about de-unification.
Overall, I love this story, and I look forward to seeing what happens. Also, considering Chapter 9 will likely be Atlas-focused, I'm wondering if a certain aspect won't get in the way.
