Pretty fun take on a non-violent rail shooter!

For me personally, I think it'd be more fun it it was a bit more difficult and the perfect bonus was smaller, as it was about 50% of my money made (on day 3 at least). As such it felt like I HAD to get a perfect or lose out on a lot of money.

Admittedly, in regards to the difficulty, it is generally advised to make jam games on the easier side, as most people won't play games for very long, so it was probably the right decision, haha.

Also was surprised on day 2 when I discovered that the upgrades change each day, which was great to see!

Overall: well done!

Itch marked this comment as spam for some reason :S. Manually approved it, so it should show up for everyone.

But thank you again for the kind comment :)

Thanks! :)

Thank you!

In regards to the grappling hook, this is a bug. It happened to me once during submission hour, but never before or after, so I don't know what causes it. Restarting the game solved it for me.

Thank you very much :)

Thank you :D. Spent quite a while on dialling the physics in, so happy to hear it feels nice to others too :).

You're right, SpeedRunners was a major inspiration for this game! Was initially planning to differentiate it more, but probably like many games, I had to reduce the scope during the jam, haha.

Nicely done! Think that that's also my current high score, haha.

Also interesting. Never heard of that game before :).

Thanks you. Glad you enjoyed it :)

Fun game! Like that the theme is really core to the game and forces you to explore the level. The graphics also look really nice.

It is quite challenging. Got stuck at the start of the 3rd level (even with the very sneaky charging station in the pit, haha).

"If you kids don't stop fighting, napping and setting all those fires, I'm going to turn this rocket around and go land back home!"

In all seriousness, this was a really cute game. Well done!

This game oozes style.

Also a really creative use of the countdown.

While not normally the type of game I'd play, I did enjoy it :).

I also appreciate, that the jam's theme is really core to the game.

Cozy little game. Probably completed in under 10 minutes (didn't time it).
Just what the doctor ordered, after submission hour :)

Did initially get a "Invalid binary data file size! (offset=240, size=14433661, file length=12512718)", when starting the game on Firefox, but had no problems when I tried it on Edge.
