House of the Underworld, alongside the books that surround it have become my favorite story, and in those, House of the Underworld is probably one of if not the best thing I have read.
It's characters are messy, painfully human in a world of gods and powers beyond them. There is so much hurt and pain but also so much comfort and hope to be found, these people are imperfect and Cirice is not afraid to show that, to delve into the difficult relations, made worse by the meddling of forces beyond mortality.
I cried so much reading this my eyes hurt, I picked it up and didn't put it down for anything beyond sleep and food, its incredible and nothing I say can do it justice.

Bloodstained Porcelain is a very classic revenge story with a very trans lens to it, I think the sweeter moments that were a reprieve of the Doll's warpath were some of the highlights, and I found myself cheering for the main character(s) a lot along the way.

You can tell there's a lot love behind it, and I look forward to see what else there is in it's future :>

Sea of Silence is a great sequel, it has many heavy themes and it refuses to shy away from any of it, which makes it for a difficult to bear with, but beautiful representation of many queer issues. It's a beautiful story filled with suffering and real pain in it's issues but it is absolutely special.

I wasn't sure where a sequel could go, but I think it elevates A Quiet Universe really well and drives home the points and narrative made in the first one. Awesome read.

This was such a lovely book. I lost count of the times I smiled and cried during it. It really captures the messiness of mortal life brushed up against the divine, struggles so beautifully mundane in world that otherwise swallows the small lives within it so easily.

I cannot praise it highly enough.
