Hello! I'm glad you love the game, and I'm happy it's brought you joy! Also, I seriously appreciate people considering subscribing on Patreon.
Thank you for playing, and thank you for the (possible) support! ♥
Hello! Yes, Transportal is still being worked on.
While I don't follow a strict release schedule, there are two major releases out at any given time. There is the public release on Itch, and there is the "early" release on Patreon (which has more content).
Loose playtime estimates as of August 22nd:
Public Release (0.4.6): About 8 hours and 11 minutes
Early (Patreon-exclusive) Release (0.5.2): About 11 hours and 11 minutes
Here is a link to the changelog for 0.5.2 on Patreon.
I'm aware that it has been a while since the last major release. I am the only developer, and I am currently in the process of a real-life move - but the game is still being worked on!
Thank you for your interest! ♥
Hello! Thank you for the bug report, and thank you for the kind words! ♥
This almost sounds like two separate bugs to me, but... it's likely that they are fixed in my unreleased developer version of the game.
(The "IRL" Library job, "Damien Pickup" event, and and Campsites have all been adjusted a bit under the hood since then.)
Thank you for playing!
Hi! If you're referring to "a dedicated way to re-watch in-game scenes from a menu"... it's possible that such a thing may be implemented eventually, but it's lower on my list of priorities right now.
Thank you for playing! :)
(Also, I apologize for how late my reply was - Itch filtered your message as spam, so I did not see it until now.)
Hi! While I'm sure there are plugins (or tools, etc) out there for RPG Maker MZ that can make in-game fights easier, I do not have the knowledge of where you would obtain such a thing. Also, a "fight skip" feature is not something I am (at least currently) planning to implement into my game.
I'm glad you like the story, and I appreciate the feedback! ♥
(Also, my apologies for the late reply - you got spam filtered by Itch.)
Hi! I'm glad you like the game, and I appreciate the kind words!
1. I don't have much of a stance on people using things akin to "cheats" - stuff like editing RPG stats in their save, clipping through walls, teleporting to different in-game maps, etc... (although it could break game progression!)
I do ask that, if people find work-in-progress stuff that the player isn't meant to see... that they take it with a huge grain of salt, hehe.
2. Unless given permission from me, I prefer that people NOT make their own "custom content" or "custom tools" for Transportal itself.
I continue to put a whole lot of work into the game (its plot, characters, general content, etc), and the game itself is very important and personal to me, as its creator. It is valuable and precious to me that I have the ability to define "what that game is" - so I greatly appreciate people respecting that decision.
It makes me happy that Transportal has become a project which means something to people! I will continue to work hard on the game - and I expect my development to speed up after I've fully moved into my new place of living.
Thank you for your patience! ♥
Hi! Yes, you are missing both the "Instant Text" toggle, as well as the button for "fast text skipping".
A text speed of 10 is NOT the fastest text speed in Transportal. Highlight the current text speed option, and then press the right arrow on the keyboard. It should say "Instant", like the screenshot below. This will make entire messages appear at once!

Additionally, if "Faster Text Skipping is "ON", you can hold down the PageDown key (R1/RB on controller) to fast-forward through dialogue scenes.

And thank you! I think the "Attraction to Men setting" makes the game more accessible to a lot of people.
Thanks for playing! ♥
Hi! While I don't follow a strict release schedule, there are two major releases out at any given time. There is the public release on Itch, and there is the "early" release on Patreon (which has more content). If you've played the Patreon version within that time frame, then the answer to your question is "no".
I'm aware that it has been a while since the last major release. I am the only developer, and I am currently in the process of a real-life move - but the game is still being worked on!
I am also looking forward to the next major release. ♥
Thank you for playing!
Hello! The current plan for Transportal's "IRL" content is to gradually have the protagonist become more and more physically feminine (including breasts, etc), and include the option of lewd scenes. It's possible that there may eventually be the option to have a vagina in "Real Life", but if so, it would likely be quite late into the game's plot. We'll have to see!
Thanks for playing! ♥
Hi! Thank you for the kind words! I've been looking into how I would potentially go about localization.
If you'd like, you can send me a DM on Bluesky, and we can discuss the possibility. (As far as I know, Itch does not support direct messages.) If you already have access to the Discord or Patreon, you can also reach me there.

Thank you for the consideration! ♥
Hello! Although it's possible that Transportal could be translated into other languages eventually, I am only fluent in English, personally. We'll have to see! :)
Having some sort of online, detailed information about the game (mechanics, puzzles, etc) is not a bad idea. Maybe at some point!
Thank you for playing ♥
Hi! There was not a content update (yet!)
For whatever reason, Itch labels a game as “updated” if ANYTHING is changed/edited about the game’s webpage. All I did this time was re-upload a few screenshots at higher resolution.
If there WAS a new version of the game, there would be a Development Log here on Itch, as well as a Post and Changelog on the Patreon.
I appreciate your patience! ♥
Hello! I'm glad you like the game!
While I am able to add content settings up to a certain degree, I cannot feasibly make in-game options for everything. Those types of settings take lots of work and care to implement properly!
Therefore, some things are not likely to be changed by an in-game options menu. (This can be because of the way I'm writing the protagonist/the story, or for structural reasons, or etc.)
I'm glad that I was able to implement a toggle for the protagonist's attraction to men. That said, a toggle for the protagonist's attraction to women is unlikely to ever be added.
Thank you for understanding, and thanks for playing! ♥
Hello! I’m glad you like the game.
The Patreon is there for those who wish to support the project and the developer. While it does give access to a newer version of the game, there is no requirement to support if you are not able to (or if you do not wish to).
That said, the changelog for the current Patreon-only release (0.5.2) is now publicly-available on the Patreon. ♥
Thanks!
Thank you! Yes, I am the only developer for Transportal. :)
Frankly, I'm very grateful for people's patience and positivity. Having the ability to follow a less-strict release schedule takes a large weight off of me as a developer - and I think it's better for the game in the long run.
I'll keep working hard on it! Sending love ♥
Hi! Sorry this took so long to get a reply - you got flagged as spam by itch.io, so I didn't see your message until now.
Here is a step-by-step guide to completing that section of the water dungeon.
1. After you first obtain the Blue Medallion and reach the second floor, step on this spot on the floor:

2. Then defeat the enemy in the way, and step on this floor tile:

3. Follow this path, jumping across the raised pillars, and interact with the orb.

4. Go down the newly-opened ladder, retrieve the Blue Medallion from the teleporter, then go BACK UP the ladder you just went through.
5. Walk to the big magical circle on the ground on the second floor. That's it! :)
