Centuries ago, in the power-hungry realm of Mondran, the Holy Empire claimed to rule with peace and equality. But when a terrifying White Burning Shadow emerged from the abyss demanding the Mondran Core, the Empire couldn't stop it. The realm was saved instead by a legendary Lord of the Fire Dragon race, who wielded the legendary twin elements of White Fire and Thunder. He crushed the dark army like dry leaves, leaving the Holy Empire disgraced and dethroned as "gods."
Secretly monstrous beings known as Soul-Sucking Naratus, the Holy Empire plotted their revenge. When the great Dragon Lord died, the Empire attached a curse—the Soul-Burning Rose—to his grave. Under the guise of a blessing, this artifact drained the strength of every unborn dragon generation. Over a thousand years, the once-invincible dragon race withered to a fraction of their original power, leaving them helpless as the Empire forced all clans into horrific blood sacrifices to fuel their ultimate evolution.
Three centuries later, a mysterious hooded figure snuck into the dragon clan's mating festival and injected deadly poison into an unhatched egg. When the egg hatched, the joyful parents named their newborn daughter Kiara. But the poison created a horrific aura—anyone near baby Kiara grew weak, their skin peeling away. The terrified clan demanded Kiara be sacrificed on a devil's altar.
Refusing to let their child die, Kiara’s father burned his own core, unleashing a massive firestorm to hold off the mob while opening a blood portal for his wife and daughter to escape. He sacrificed everything, taking a brutal beating as the portal closed behind them.
Kiara and her mother escaped to Earth, where Kiara's condition stabilized. To protect her, her mother crafted a soul-bonding jade—using her own life essence to safeguard her daughter and accelerate Kiara's growth by 30%. Sent far away for her own safety, a newly grown Kiara now sets off on a dangerous journey back to find her mother in a post-apocalyptic wasteland crawling with demons.
