Happy to hear that!! It's actually not a tracker at all but rather a step sequencer, which IMO is a bit easier to get into, having less numbers and information all over the place... :)

I'd recommend checking out the video walkthroughs for learning all the different features in a nice pace.

The TD-3 should be syncable via the 'analog' sync option, this would involve getting a link cable (I recommend a GBC one) and a 3.5mm stereo plug and soldering the contacts to the appropriate pins on the link cable (the diagram in the guide)

If you are unsure how to do this there are a bunch of helpful people in the Discord. :)

SuperChis seems to be problematic with FMS, those carts (and the firmware) are primarily made for commercial games that used the official SDK, which FMS does not use.

But you're saying that the SRAM version runs fine, as in saving? The "full" flash-saving version will definitely not work on any supercard-based cart.

The windows installer is signed properly but probably not fully in the “trusted” zone yet because of a recently updated certificate. Thanks for the heads up!

It’s ergonomic, lets you keep your fingers on the home row and reach all combos and buttons without moving your hands or putting your wrists in an awkward position ;—)

(of course everything can be remapped in the configuration though)

But yeah, always allowing the arrow keys is probably good to not trip people up.

It’s controlled via keyboard or a controller - you can change the key mapping in the Input config menu. :-)

Thanks! Haven't tried the GBC cable with the Arduinoboy yet, but I'll give it a shot. :)

Sorry to hear that! There's been no change to how the SRAM saving works FWIW – could be an issue with the SuperFW firmware which does a lot of different things under the hood... It's better to send an email to hi@lo-bit.club so we can troubleshoot, would be good to hear more details.

if you use open_agb_firm and set the save type to flash_128 it should work with the full save version :-)

I couldn't manage to get that to work with the GBA link cable protocol for some reason, but perhaps I need to revisit using a GBC link cable instead, I've heard that is supposed to solve things.

save states cannot be reloaded with a new ROM because the state depends on the binary. .sav files will however migrate over

Yes it will - you only need to replace the rom file. Make sure it’s the same name though, because it matches to the sav file via the filename

Nothing else planned on the GBA besides further developing FMS – other than that we also do Fors which focuses more on plugins and other desktop software

You can! :-)

Sorry to hear that! sounds like either a cart or emulator configuration issue - please send us an email to hi@lo-bit.club with details of your setup etc and we’ll help you out :-)

(The save type needs to be set to 1M / 128k Flash in order to work, most emulators auto-detect it, but if not you can usually just override it in the settings)

Happy to hear that! Yeah the controls are honed in for the original GBA and SP, they feel just right :—)

will make a mailing list soonish :—)

Seems like it should work with the GBA emulators available - but haven’t tried myself

Well, you can run it on practically anything that has a GBA emulator! Which at this point is 99% likely something you already have like a computer, phone, gaming handheld etc… :—)
