I loved the game. The theme is full on point with the story and the mechanic of gently falling to jump again are cool as fuck. Also the level design and the art are good and well thought, imo.

I found it kinda hard in some levels, but this is pretty good. Congratulations!

I liked the game. The art and idea are cool.

However I find it a bit too hard to have this fast rythmn and also have to check for changes in the characters. For a regular OSU! player perhaps this is easy, but I'm just a commoner hahah

Good work. I like the art you made. The story is interesting too.

When your granpa tells you that when he was young he walked hell on earth to reach school. This is the example hahah

However, I found the platforming levels a bit too hard when the ceiling is too close and I feel that the theme and limitation are missing/are too weak.

The game is cool and the art is awesome. I had some issues because I tried to use E to pick customers and it was impossible, until I clicked them with the mouse by chance.

I just feel that the theme and limitation are a bit tangential and the doors can change while in my screen hahah

Good work

The limitation is certainly core, although I find the theme of autumn a bit weak.

For me, the audio is a bit too loud and annoying.

The game is cool and the art and music is good.

I just didn't get right the demon thing and got tricked twice without knowing why.

I'm rating a lot of games and the ones in this thread too, so we would appreciate some feedback too :)
It's unfinished and it has some bugs, but please see the concept behind it.

Game is so cute and comfy for sure. It's so funny seeing the racoon having a pumpkin in its back.

Also I had some hard time knowing which home the mission was sending me to. The descriptions were kinda generic and non specific.

Anyways, the game feels good and the art and composition is well implemented.

The game is cool. The limitation is very well implemented, imo, but the theme is kinda weak on the other side. The idea is cool and I looked the pdf document and all.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to properly grasp the gameplay. I felt like the items didn't combine and some visual/sound feedback is needed to inform the player that it worked or it can't be mixed.

And what happens when you brew something wrong? I didn't know what to do with a wrong tea cup. Didn't find anyway to spill the tea.

The artstyle looks good, but there's no game to play yet. I can only get 3 out of 4 photos and when I get out of the house I get to a big blue plane with seemingly nothing. There are sound options, but no music, if I'm not mistaken.

Another thing I wanted to highlight: the constant camera shake effect feels cinematographic and all that, but in my experience it made me dizzy after some time. I even had some nausea.

And watchout with the world bounds! I fell out of bounds in the house and in the big blue plane.

Besides that, looks like an interesting project, but I feel that the relationship with the theme and limitation is weak right now.

I liked the game. It was fun seeing that basically I'm a baby without sense of object permanence (or someone with TDAH)

The art and menus are neat, the gameplay is good and the gameplay is clear.

However I feel that the gameplay gets too easy when you get the idea of everything outside the screen instanctly disappearing. An idea to make it different, if you allow me, would be to have more than 1 order at a time with a time constraint and items disappearing if you have them unattended for a couple of time, instead of instanctly. Kinda a First Person Overcooked, tho.

Anyways, good entry, had fun with it! :)

I find the game kinda funny. Good work.

In my gameplay the cornman got bugged and stucked to walls, but I was able to end the game anyways

Also, the vision is kinda OP. Being able to look through walls is very strong and I feel that it was okay to have it. I don't know if playing it with "regular vision" where the cone gets cut on walls and corners would've been better.

And the multiplayer addition is cool!

The only thing I felt weak in relationship with the jam was the limitation. I only saw 1 wood wall appearing from nowhere, but overall nothing seems to change when we can't see.

I'm afraid I'm one of those people who can't add ingredients, so I couldn't finish the game.

Nevertheless, the concept is good and everything visual seems to be properly implemented. There are some visual artifacts between the tiles when you move, but minor things.

I feel that the autumn theme is good, but the "things change when you look away" is missing. I thought it was something about growing outside screen, but a pumpkin advanced in grow state when I was in the same screen watching it.

Some comments about the gameplay:

  • The diagonal move should be a must, since it feels bad not to be able to
  • I would give it an second check to the UI. Would be good to be able to click with the LMB the item and also circle the items bar with the mouse scroll
  • On the other hand, when you have an item selected it should pop up its name permanently or for a couple of seconds. Otherwise I don't know what I'm holding.
  • The mission text in the corner makes it hard to read and that's rough since the game is hard to play without it. The goal should be to be able to play without text.
  • Also, sometimes I already had an item a new mission asked me to collect, so I had to toss it and pick it back, instead of the system checking if I already had it.
  • On the other hand, it is possible that the stack of items is bugged. I holded 5 items with a 2 leaves sprite, then tossed them and tried to pick them back and the game only allowed me to gather 1. While other items I can pick up to 10.

Anyways, good work and I hope you, the team, enjoyed developing it :)

Isn't it too "Things change when you look away"?

I felt like the jam calling it limitation meant that it was a must too in the game. If not, then please forget my previous comment haha

Well, the game is kinda fun to play and the pumpkin rolling animation is good.

The only thing I'd say is that I feel that the relation with the gamejam's themes is pretty weak.

The game feels a bit undertested. I believe that with some small changes it could improve a lot :)

The main character's hitbox should be way smaller, since I get hit way too much.

On the other hand, I feel like the progression, even though the game doesn't seem to be designed to be that long, is a bit rough. The start of the game feels awful, and then it gets too easy with 2 or 3 upgrades.

For example, the axe attack is way too slow, so having a consistent performance in the game is hard. When I get the -0.5s axe attack rate upgrade it's when the game feels fair. But when you get the big axe it feels way too easy. Also, picking the crossbow upgrade is much better than the axe, since it does more damage and is a lot safer.

And as a final comment: It's just a personal opinion, but I think that the main character having those clothes and those big boobs animated is a stupid idea. It doesn't serve any purpose except fan-service and sexualization. I'd rather have a strong well suited soldier-lady or a witch in spooky clothes that wasn't just bait for horny men xd

I've tried the game and only finished the first order.

I liked the vibes of the story and dialogues! I can also value the difficulty of building a branching story system and the dialogues feel good. Very cozy and all.

But I feel that the gameplay is too steep and tough. Too many options, too much text and all too unintuitive. And I got lost about the ghost thing. I guess it just hangs around and move things, right?

As some personal ideas: I think it would be better if the recipe was always open in one side of the screen and most of all, if ingredients had some kind of text label instead of having to hover over all of them to know what they are. Also, having a ghost cup in the counter confused me because I thought I already had one cup.

Good luck in the jam!

Game's good! I like the vibes and the style

The only thing that I got wrong is that I finished and the walking sound got bugged playing non-stop ruining the final reward of listening to my own piece.
