Thank you so much for the feedback!
I gotta study the sound situation in godot better, I thought I had it set so that the sfx would be quieter than the music but apparently that didn't work... getting rid of the losing screen is a great idea, it would help a ton with the flow of the game and the "R" bubble is something I already have available so it's an easy fix. About the big levels with the unknown sections, I wanted to add a "pan" feature with the mouse but ran out of time, so that's definitely a future feature, especially if i want to expand on the levels and add more stuff. I also wanted to make a level editor system, so that people could upload their levels online and challenge other players, but that's obviously way in the future ahahah

Thanks <3

I absolutely love the subtle changes in the animation when eating, they give a lot of character to the... character and the whole artstyle looks really cute!

I got a high score of 80 UwU

I love how you worked the main mechanic into the start menu, it really helped with understanding the game before even starting to play. Overall it's a really nice time management system, you should expand on it and make a full game out of it once the jam period is over :)

Thanks! I initally wanted to make some classic chiptune space-y music, but I opted to record a little loop on my ukulele instead :)

Very creative, and most of all waaay more polished than jam games usually are. Great job!

Super funny name and concept, amazing art and tight controls, I finished the game and now i hate eggs.

Loved it!

Really cool concept! I couldn't not play a game about my city lmao. It's a surprisingly deep game, the mechanics seem simple and the infinite resources might trick you into thinking it would be simple to defend the colosseum, but the timer needed to place units really makes you think about priorities. Good job!

Cool concept, the pattern in the timer was very clever :)

A few tips since it's your first game, your pixel art looks blurry because it's set to linear filtering, you should set it to closest or nearest (depending on the engine). The textboxes sort of mixed with each other, if you interacted with 2 things at the same time, consider blocking the player while the text is active or blocking the mouse button at least.

Oh yeah it was a joke, like i shot the enemies too much so I died ahahah

Cool concept! I found myself trying to buy the cheaper words that still conveyed the message, priorityzing numbers and colors, like for example if the phrase is  *** the button 5 times I know it's press from the context, and not "hold". Really cool :)

A little "game juice" and some polishing of the mechanics would make this a pretty cool speedrun game :)

Keep working on it after the jam period is over, I'm curious hehe

Cool rogue like concept, just needs a bit of polishing :) I suggest bigger projectiles to see them better, less enemies (maybe a bit less resistant too, so you don't have to circle a rock to kill them all one by one) and some particle effects

There's no game uploaded :(

Does it count as shooting myself if I spammed rapid fire and died?

Anyway, really cool mechanic!

saving this one for later :)

A little disorienting in the beginning but pretty fun! It's really hard though, I couldn't beat the boss :(

One of the best games I've played, the jump-to-flip mechanic is absolutely brilliant and very well executed, the puzzles were simple but not boring, the feel with the camera shake and the sound effects, not to mention the animations, made a huge impact on the whole experience. 10/10

Time restored!

I really enjoyed playing this submission, the art, animation and camera work are amazing, the twist on the turn based combat system made me enjoy a genre that i rarely can endure for more than a couple of minutes. I could totally see a full game based on this one's premise :)

Cool idea!

I love the ambiance and the artstyle, it reminds me of Cryptmaster :)

The gameplay is really nice, sort of a souls-like crypt of the necrodancer :)

Definitely try developing this further post-jam, it's a great project with lots of potential.

Help I've been playing for an hour I CAN'T STOP

I'm sure this would be waaay more fun if I knew how poker worked lmao

Anyway, as others said, the balatro influence can definitely be felt, and it's not a bad thing, it's a well done game :)

I really like the concept, it's simple, funny and cute :)

However, consider making the enemies' cone of vision less snappy, many times i was caught because the cone teleported on me and i couldn't do anything about it...

The name is really nice.

I am the rat

I steal the cheese

I really liked it! As others said, a small light in front of the ships to see how big the rocks are would be really helpful, but overall it's a pretty nice experience!

Thanks!

I don't even buy blind boxes irl... however, $1078 profit!

I really liked playing this game :)

Yeah I thought about that but ran out of time, so I decided to build smaller levels instead, maybe in the future :)

That was my evil, devious plan all along >:)

I got curious seeing the thumbnail and had to check it out, the game looks absolutely amazing. The UFO reminds me of one I made a few years back (you'll see it on my page if you want), the mechanics are well utilized and the level design is great. Good job!

Thanks!
I thought about making it a mobile game in the future, it definitely needs work (and more levels) though

Cool first try!

I really really like the artstyle, I'm a sucker for sketch like drawings and animations and this one is really well done. Cool concept as well, I managed to get stuck (in the smoke, put a torch down and grab a piece of wood) but that's an easy fix. Keep developing this!

Took me a while to understand how to make the beers, lol. And these guys are so impatient! (Or I'm bad at the game lmao)
Anyway, fun game!

I really like the artstyle!

That's the great part about making jam games :)

It's a little hard to read the cards' descriptions, but other than that the game feels really good and balanced, it really got me playing for a while :) Great job

Cool twist on a classic!

score 45975
I would genuinely love to have this game on my phone, please consider releasing it on mobile!
It took me a while to switch from the regular "avoid the mine" mentality I learned from minesweeper, but once that clicked the game got very fun very fast. Love it!

The controls feel really good, snappy and precise. If I had to change something, I'd make the sand square, at least the hitbox, as a circle each grain is very slippery and makes it hard to land properly avoiding the other grains. Overall really fun :)
