This is THE single best game I've found on Itch. The demo is free, the gameplay is very relaxed (unless you're outside your ship in space), and the graphics are stunning. Best part is the multiplayer, invite a friend to build your dream spacecraft or just go exploring other planets.
As a major StarTrek fan, this game hits all the bases. Exploration, engineering, risk and co-op fun.

Currently on it's way to early-access beta testing. I have never bought a digital asset in my life, but I will be purchasing this game when it comes out in support of the developer.

If you hit F1 you go into fly mode and don't need to worry about dying in space. For full heart-pounding oxygen-depleteing madness, just go out into space and build with your ship nearby. Alternatively you could build on the starting planet and launch it into orbit from there.

I believe to build a new structure you have to have a flat surface and a "floor" tile.

It's a good start! Maybe consider adding a speedrun timer, or some kind of meaningful progression? Collect all the stars you win?

Little bit of constructive criticism:

A) Begginning is spelled "beginning". (first impression of your game trailer is a misspelled word, not the best)
B) Try getting me interesting in the plot of the game. 
C) "and stuff very fun" just makes you sound desperate and like you ran out of material to describe. Try; "A game I made with Unity in X number of days to learn a skill." Tell a story of the development or at least a paragraph or so of real discription.

PLAY THIS GAME. Best one I've ever found on Itch. Especially with friends.

Fun to me is a puzzle to solve. Something that you don't see right away, but once you do the pieces all click into place. It's deeply satisfying. I actually hate horror games because of how little mental effort is required. Make an FPS, turn the lighting down really low, throw in a jump scare and there's your game. Seriously, you'll wear out your adrenals like that.

Airlock is a game that sits on the fine line of buggy and functional. From a grapple mechanic that can pull you through walls to literally being chased by Windows Defender, any choice you make could lead to sweet, sweet victory or utter deletion from this digital world.

I don't believe I said anything against fantasy in general. Video games are fantasy, so I probably wouldn't be here if I thought that way. Fantasy in general is just an escape from reality. It's not one way or the other until you get into specifics. Also depends on your conscience, if you don't feel guilty it's not an issue. The reason I stopped is I felt it consuming my life. How often do you think to yourself "I'd rather be..." and how often is that the same thing you'd rather be doing. If you can hold it off, then I'm happy for you. I personally have found that my life is FAR better for abstainance, that may not be the case for everyone. 

Being "well done" is an opinion. What one person considers "well done" may be disgusting to someone else. I'm not debating you, just pointing that out.

It no longer crashes, but all of the textures are broken and the armatures are all over the place. Also I count two rifles, an RPG, the projectile for the RPG and some kind of remote.

EDIT: Never mind, the models are just all inside of each other. They clumped up into four groups.

I'm interested in this pack for an FPS game I'm working on. Any chance I could request a submachine gun base either for this pack or a version 2.0?

Both Blender 2.8 and UPBGE 2.5b instantly crash upon loading this pack. No warning, no 'oops failed to render,' just NOPE and ask if you want to re-open. I'm guessing this was made in one of the many versions between 2.9 and 4.0, so my old versions REALLY don't like it.

Could you please make this pack available as an FBX file? I think that would fix it

What you can't see is the feeling that went into that comment. I practically cried writing some of these. Is empathy a bad thing? Is it wrong to try to help? I wish I'd had somebody to say to me what I'm saying to you when I needed it.

I'm truely sorry if you feel stereotyped. It's something I can't help since I don't know who I'm talking to. One thing I can ask is that you don't look down on me for my shortcomings. Blind anger solves nothing, and an "I'm-better-than-you" mentality is wrong no matter what what you believe in.

A lot of commenters have used the word "preach" to describe my comments. I'd like to apologise if that's how it came off. I meant to have an open discussion, which means a place to seek out facts. If you know something that I don't, the correct me. I'll do the same and eventually we'll both be better for it. There's also something to be said for considering other people's feelings when correcting them. Violent or insistant correction can actually drive someone farther from the point you're trying to make.

Officiousness is the opposite of my intentions. I firmly beleive in respectful debate, but I guess this isn't the time or place for it. I guess that says something else about these crazy times we live in.

But if you go down that pathway, you kind of reduce God to a tempter, an evil manipulative bastard, that only brings you in a bad situation to later help you out of it.

The way I know things to work: God gave you free will out of love. What you do with that will is on you, because God respects your choices. God Himself tempts no one. When did I ever do this. I suggested that faith will set you free, but I never used the Bible (direct quotation or otherwise) to tell people that they're wrong for watching porn. There was no judgement; like I said, I've been there and God was my way out. Just sharing a permanent solution for those who feel empty inside. If you choose to ignore my story I won't ask twice. Usually I won't even ask once. It's God who's persistant in persuing His lost sheep. It also occurs to me that you wanted the religious discussion. You replied to my second comment and began by calling me nutcase and a bigot. I never asked for that.

I couldn't help noticing that you're very familiar with the contents of the Bible, so see if this strikes a chord.

Again confusing of faith and religion. I'm not basing my ideals on any doctrine that didn't come directly from God. Literally look at the Bible and see. Also, I'm not the only one. There are many, many people who have similar testimonies that faith set them free.

Some examples that are generally ignored by the bigots in daily live:

A lot of these are taken from the Old Testament. The garment one is symbolic of being double-minded, blood is sacred but God told Peter to take and eat anyway, hair cutting was a sectarian thing back then (I think it falls under traditions that are unique form culture to culture), and the Sabbath was made for man not man for the Sabbath.

Every sin can be forgiven (besides lying directly to God like He doesn't know your mind before you do). That doesn't mean that God approves of sin in any form.

Yet is alcohol forbidden in the Bible? No. It is not. Let that sink in.

In some cases it's even fine to get drunk. Something about letting a suffering man drink to ease his pain.

A. Damnation is not an empty threat. But if you're right with God it's not something you need to be afraid of.

B. Healthy sexuality is not evil. Porn is NOT healthy.

C. I'm not one of those religious nuts who go around knocking on peoples doors. Nobody's perfect, me included.

As a follower of Jesus I dislike when people twist faith into religion as well. Faith is free from fear and guilt. It's trusting God to protect and forgive. Religion is the ritual of going to church every Sunday and listening to a guy yell at you and tell you you're doomed. You are absolutely free to do as you please, but I've been very close to being addicted to porn and my warning stands. It WILL consume you and your future. If God hadn't helped me out I wouldn't be where I am today. Faith is freedom. 

If you'll excuse the assumption, I would say that you've been conditioned to believe that religion is the same as faith or that they're inseperable. I'm also going to guess you skimmed my comment, saw God and immediately decided I was wrong. The side of Christianity that you've seen is the side that gives God's followers a bad rap. 

It's worrying to me as well. Probably says something about the state of the world right now, don't you think?

You do have the right to do as you like, but at the same time it's wrong and eventually playing NFSW games will catch up with you. 

If you're reading this and about to reply angrily, wait. Keep reading. I genuinely hope you find peace. You're probably trying to fill a void that can't be filled this way. Go touch grass, meet more people and get out of your parent's basement. Responsibility isn't something to be afraid of, it's really freeing. Maybe you don't even know it, but everyone is reliant on something and sometimes that thing is a weight dragging you down. Think about what you want from real life and go get it. If you're not a total creep (or regardless), you'll find someone to fill that void.

God grant that this helps someone, and whoever you are I ask that He give you the means and motivation to be free.

I'm 100% a hobby dev. I have no payment configured on Itch, so you couldn't donate if you wanted to. I'm seriously casual, and have a real job instead of making money from my games.

The best features of my games are the solid mechanics. Tried-and-true or a little wacky, either way that game turned out exactly how I wanted it. I can't say my games look the nicest, but overall bugs are few and far between.

Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing. Blender is pretty minimalistic where graphics are concerned. I've have super large projects cause some trouble (130,000+ tris), but usually nothing more than a quick crash and a minute getting back the auto-save.

I'd be pretty careful with buying a computer for less than $100. For about $200 you can get a fairly nice used computer that'll last you at least the next 10 years. 

Intel i5, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB storage, and a 2-something Ghz processor are more than enough spec-wise to run almost any application and most game engines*. It's decent for gaming, just don't expect too much out of it. A lot of stuff on Steam won't run that well, but my specs are pretty close to these and I've rarely had trouble with an Itch game*.

*Unreal Engine is the exception.

A used 2012 Macbook Pro runs Blender Game Engine without much trouble. Same price as a low-end Chromebook. Blender is 600 MB for everything, and anything with 8 GB RAM can run Blender. Just don't buy new - old tech is cheaper and tends to run longer for it's age.

Maybe Blender 2.8-4.0 needs more power than that, but all the old stuff is free to download right on the website. And if you'd care to give it a shot, some of the older versions have a game engine built in (I noticed your previous posts looking for a game engine).

I've heard good things about Godot as an engine, but idk about size.
