Great game!

I'm stuck on this level:

Also, it would be nice to be able to continue the game when coming back to this web page, instead of having to restart it from the beginning 😅

Hi.

Thank you for your answer.

In the past, I have created and published several free games on itch.io, and one fixed-price game for now.
I take care to respect the licensing of the illustrations I use, and I never used AI-generated images.

I do not have any use in mind for now for those nice sci-fi illustrations you shared, but I collect many Creative Commons or public domain illustrations on this page, for later use in game projects: https://chezsoi.org/lucas/blog/pages/images-libres-de-droits.html

As you may already know it, there is another Creative Common license, CC BY-NC, that explicitely allows reuse of material but forbid commercial use : https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/deed.en

I collect illustrations under that license (and CC0, CC-BY...) so that I can use them in the free games I create (but not in the fixed-price games, of course). However I never use images under CC BY-NC-ND, as this license makes it impossible to use them in free games published online.

Of course CC BY-NC-ND licensed illustrations can still be used by TTRPG game masters for their own private use in their game sessions. And I totally respect that as a choice for an illustrator: reuse is restricted but it is always very generous to share illustrations online with a community of enthusiast gamers.

Thank you for your time, and thanks a lot for sharing your work with us sci-fi fans! 🙂

Hi.

Thank you for sharing those illustrations, I love them 😍

I'm just curious about the licence: why choosing CC BY-NC-ND, if you state that people should "Feel free to reuse and remix this artwork"?

The "ND" in CC BY-NC-ND means "No Derivatives": https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/deed.en

Wonderful maze!

A bit tricky regarding the key picking order, but all the more rewarding.

Thank you ❤️

Found it!

I loved it ❤️

Great puzzle and atmosphere.

A wonderful gem, as usual with your games.

Hi!

I published a pay-what-you-want game module about interrogations by Doskvol police forces:
https://lucas-c.itch.io/blades-in-the-dark-interrogation

I am proud to release Abducted Negotiators,  a short cinematic TTRPG scenario entirely based on role-playing:

Find more about it ine the dedicated Devlog post: lucas-c.itch.io/abducted-negotiators/devlog/1619179

Génial !

Bonne partie 😊

Reached level 41.

At some point near the end the grid was full!

I liked it.
I had the feeling that in the end the cards that require space to move are what limits you the most, when there is only enemies around you.

Another wonderful game from you Kultisti, I loved it! ❤️

It feels really professional, the puzzles are slick, and I love how generous you were on animating every detail of the game.

I haven't finished it yet, but I have a few questions:

  • how many chapters has the game?
  • I started the game playing online, but I'd love to finish it offline in the train I take every day: is it possible to resume progression of a game started in a browser on the Windows version? I'm probably the only player ever to need this, so I don't really expect this to be possible... 😅🤞
  • do you plan to release an android version?

Nice game!

I got stuck on a floor (depth 2) with no exit, the power generator key, but no power generator anywhere...

I agree regarding the blown mines sprite 🙂

Thank you very much ❤️

Hi @lilianzzz 🙂👋

Thank you for sharing your fork.

Our of curiosity, were you able to solve this problem: https://github.com/thydungeonsean/PixelShipGenerator/issues/1 ?

I have been a very big fan of this game for years.

I recently played a very fun game of Psi*Run inspired by the series The Boys.

I shared this story hook there on itch.io: The Restless

OK, thanks for your response.

I hope you like the level I shared 😄

As I suggested, I'd love to translate it into French!

I loved this game! I'm discovering all your wonderful pen & paper games, starting with this one. It's wonderfully designed, I had a lot of fun playing it. Thank you ❤️

In the "v2" PDF, I got the following scores with the puzzles: 100, 30, 50, 45, 40, 30, 35, 45, 40 & 45.

I have a couple of questions:

  • can you exit with a diagonal move? (I assumed yes)
  • can you stop or go through an exit tile, by choosing "not to exit the dungeon yet" (I assumed no)

I even made my own level:

(downloadable as PDF there: chezsoi.org/lucas/MagicMineCart/maze-level-by-Lucas-C.pdf )

Would you be willing for me to translate your game into French and share it on my own itch.io?

Hi antikix

Sorry but no, I haven't released a new version since that fix: https://github.com/Lucas-C/undying-dusk/pull/15

Yes, I tested it with Sumatra 3.5.2 and it all works fine!

Really nice game!

I discovered it by chance on FDroid.

Thank you for making it & releasing as open source!

I loved it!

Are there several solutions?

Ah OK ! 🙂

I really love your games vidarn!
My favourites are Power Surge 51, Cosmic Misadventures and this one ❤️

I re-posted them on my website: https://chezsoi.org/shaarli/?searchtags=vidarn

Thank your for your amazing craft!

Thank you very much for your feedback @nudemanonbike 😊

No, there is only a PDF version!
This atypical choice of format was my main drive and creative constraint for this project.

Had a lot of fun playing Terramaker this morning, here in France.

It's slightly adictive, I really wanted to get that diamond on the minimap! :D Now very proud to be 4th in the highscores ^^

Thank you @securas for your excellent games!

Hi! Thank you for your great feedback 😊

You are right, this is a bug, the_end() should be displayed after the final boss battle, but it is not! I will fix that before the next reelase.

Feel free to report the other bugs & there or on GitHub: https://github.com/Lucas-C/undying-dusk

Super, merci ! 👍❤️

Thank you for your kind offer, but no thanks, I'll do it myself when I'll make a new release 😊

Welcome on itch.io, and thank you very much for your support, playing my game, and taking the time to even create an account in order to post this comment!

You are totally right, the game would be a lot smaller if compressed with Zzip (around 28MB for an original 192MB PDF, and 23MB if using RAR), but not everyone has it installed. The auto-extracter is a great idea though, thanks!

Thank you for your support!

I just did so 😊

Thanks for mentioning it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvVNRRQjDh8

Thank you!

By the way, I'd like to recommend some other free material from itch.io that can be used with this great game:

Le principe a l'air génial !

Cela me rappelle Le château du roi squelette de Dave, traduit en français par Matthieu Bé : https://masmorrasemalucos.itch.io/castleoftheskullking

Hi!

Awesome game !

I translated it to French: https://lucas-c.itch.io/cyberpunk

Also, if people want to perform other translations, I shared the bare text of the game and the Libre Office source file I used there: https://github.com/Lucas-C/jdr/tree/master/CyberPunk

I had fun playing the first level, but sadly I got frequent visual glitches, in some precise positions on the maps, that rendered most things black:

For the record, I played under Windows 11 64bits with an Intel UHD Graphics 620.
