Welcome to play Witch's Game
The Omen and the Crime
The story begins with Priscilla, Esther, Susanna, and Grace performing a traditional folk ritual—dropping egg whites into water to see the future. Instead of a glimpse of love or fortune, the water reveals a coffin, a direct omen of death. By the end of the night, the youngest sister is dead, transforming a superstitious game into a grim reality.
Hello everyone! Thank you so much for all your feedback. We noticed a lot of you mentioned that the logic behind some of the puzzles wasn't clear enough, so we've pushed out a new update to address this.
- Adjusted the way you obtain the "Sun" item.
- Added more in-game hints and guidance to help players solve the puzzles.
We've also made several quality-of-life (QoL) improvements to the gameplay experience:
- Added more autosave points to prevent lost progress if you directly close the web page.
- "Save and Quit" now takes you straight to the main menu, and you can easily resume your game by clicking "Continue".
- Enlarged the hitboxes for interactable objects to make clicking smoother and more responsive.
- Fixed various bugs, including an issue with missing fonts.
Here’s what we've changed in this new update:
- The web version now saves your game progress properly.
- Added current chapter indicators in the transition levels, giving you a clearer idea of where you are in the game's progression.
- Enlarged the crack in the living room floor and added sound effects to it (surely no one will miss it now, haha!).
- We noticed our game made its way into a Russian-speaking community, so we’ve added Russian localization! We used machine translation, though, so if any Russian-speaking players have suggestions or corrections, please let us know in the comments or on Discord.
- The inventory now auto-sorts, making it much faster and easier to find and use your items.
- We've added a rating system to the settings page where you can score the game and leave a review. Your feedback means the world to us, so let's work together to make the game even better!

Hey everyone! First of all, thank you so much for playing our game. To be honest, we had no idea this prototype would be so popular!
For anyone new here, our game is a dark, "Rashomon"-style puzzle mystery set in Salem. A divination ritual goes horribly wrong, the youngest Whitlock sister is found dead, and the town's fear quickly turns into murderous fury. To escape the gallows, you have to switch between the remaining sisters' perspectives to find the truth—but beware, what one sister remembers as a tragedy, another might remember as a crime. (If you love Rusty Lake, puzzle games, or Cthulhu mythos, this is for you!

Because of your incredible support, we’ve already started working on the full version! You're also more than welcome to come hang out with us on our Discord server to follow the development.
Over the past couple of days, we've received a ton of feedback, which has been extremely helpful. Of course, there were also plenty of bugs reported (I feel so silly, I made a lot of rookie mistakes...). However, we've now fixed most of them and optimized the controls, so the game should be much easier to pick up and play now!

Here’s what we've changed in this latest update:
- Web Saves: The web version now saves your game progress properly!
- Chapter Indicators: Added chapter indicators in the transition levels so you have a clearer idea of your progress.
- The living room floor: I enlarged the crack in the living room floor and added sound effects to it (surely no one will miss it now, haha!).
- Russian Localization: We noticed our game made its way into a Russian-speaking community, so we’ve added Russian localization! It is machine-translated, so if any Russian-speaking players have corrections, please let us know in the comments or on Discord.
- Inventory QoL: The backpack now auto-sorts, making it much faster to find and use your items.
- Rating System: We've added a rating system to the settings page where you can score the game and leave a review. Your feedback means the world to us, so let's work together to make the game even better!
That’s about it for this update. Thanks again for playing, and we’ll get the full version developed and out to you as soon as possible!

Hello everyone! We just released a new game prototype! The Witch's Game. If you are a fan of surreal, atmospheric point-and-click puzzles like the Rusty Lake series, your next nightmare has arrived.
Set against the suffocating backdrop of the Salem Witch Trials, this is not just a game of logic—it is a game of survival, deception, and blood.

Key Features of the Night
- The "Rashomon" Narrative: Experience a branching story where the truth is a fragile thing. Switch between the four sisters to navigate a web of lies. Remember: What one sister recalls as a tragedy, another may remember as a crime.
- Decipher the Sin: The manor walls speak. Pay close attention to the oil paintings; they are not mere decorations, but mirrors to the soul that hide the path forward.
- The Power of Names: A hidden truth lies in plain sight. The first letters of the sisters’ names may be the final clue to unmasking the true witch among you.
- Atmospheric Puzzles: Solve intricate, period-accurate puzzles that seamlessly blend 17th-century folk magic with grim logic.
