this was actually INCREDIBLE. i adored Type Help but the mechanical improvements here really made it shine, plus i am biased towards a happy ending. i really love history but never really learned much about the Pacific side of WWII, so i absolutely love how much i was able to learn. i cannot believe i just played this for free

i actually laughed so hard i might have pulled something. the clarinets, the fanfiction, that terrifying second with grace, the plot twist which was even funnier considering the fact i was saying to myself as a joke a little while earlier and then i started thinking about it and was like oh my god and then it was revealed and i felt like i was god
also i love the fact that the age thing was never addressed.
already my favorite game creator (and the studio that introduced me to itch in the first place!!!) but wow y'all can do more than just really good escape rooms
one of my favorite escape rooms i've played!! the difficulty of the puzzles was perfect, evidenced by the fact i used zero hints or help (except when it came to the whole thing with british dates... yeah idc i don't fault myself for that) and, despite the fact i love escape rooms and play as many as i can, i am really bad at them and literally always need help, but i could also tell it wasn't too easy. i usually don't pay too much attention to the story, but this one was to die for mwuhahaha. the setting and pacing were executed so well. just such a good game
