idk why.. but i just got this feeling as if some parts of this were ai guided rather than really personal choices. but i just can't quite put my finger on why. nevertheless ngl this is better than 90% of the stuff around

I really like this game. The only things I didn't really like were a certain lack of music, the most generic scary paintings in existence (maybe i care too much because i have a whole channel dedicated to art). Also from what I see you made a skybox in godot? huh? you could also go to WorldEnvironment > Sky > Sky Material > PanoramaSkyMaterial and add your texture. This should cover the whole thing uniformeley without some stars appearing closer in some places of the map. But having a skybox is a nice retro choice, so it's up to you.
If I had to add something else, dunno.. there is a certain lack of tiny details a player can observe by himself without the game directly telling him? although most of the things are blurred, which gives a dreamlike vibe?
honest review:
it's alright and interesting. i expected worse. i have no idea how, i was able to actually understand what i had to interact with or what to do, but i don't think it's quite that clear enough. the box clue was good. finding the key was ok, but i probably got very lucky. not sure.
also the game could get more optimization. you can't overoptimize a game enough.
also the contorted girl version doesn't look that hot as on the page cover. i felt scammed lmao
