That is the best news. I saw a post that was on reddit or youtube that said you were blocked and it was posted 8 months ago. Looking forward to playing the full game as the RType Leo ship. :)

Is it true that this game had it's release blocked? If so, can you update the game's page with that info, so people know the full version won't be released.

ok, you proved it works on a real gba, now can we get those 4 .gba files you have on your pc somewhere, sitting there unshared with the world. Come on man, it clearly works, share it.

Since the demo that was playable 5 months ago isn't released, is it safe to see this as abandoned?

The enemies have to be slowed down slightly, otherwise you die in seconds and that kills the fun. A good 15% reduction in enemy speed should stop them from walking through the obstacles, which makes it impossible to take out the enemy soldiers that are behind the obstacle.

Had a blast using the R・Type Leo Prototype Ship, it breathes new life into this classic, not to mention how great this looks and plays on such a weak system (Genesis) makes it even more impressive. After the 4 stages I was wanting more. Most fan ports are really pointless, it's like yay I can play Grand Theft Auto 3 on Dreamcast...whoopie...who cares...But this actually an improvement on the original R・Type, completely worth playing. Here's to hoping the game gets finished since many fan games/ports never get completed.
