Hi everyone!
I’m a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker looking to collaborate on indie game localization projects from English into Brazilian Portuguese (PT-BR) while continuing to build my localization portfolio.
I’m a lifelong gamer and Twitch Partner who has been creating content in Portuguese for a Brazilian audience since 2020. I’ve also completed training in game localization and hands-on localization projects, and I’m especially interested in creating translations that feel natural to Brazilian players.
What I can help with:
- English → Brazilian Portuguese (PT-BR) localization
- Dialogue, UI, menus, item descriptions, tutorials, achievements, etc.
- Proofreading and linguistic QA of existing PT-BR translations
- Terminology consistency, grammar, natural phrasing, tone, and cultural adaptation
- In-context review when a playable build is available
- Collaboration/review with other localizers if the project requires more than one translator
What I’m looking for:
- Small or medium-sized indie games that would benefit from a Brazilian Portuguese localization
- Projects where I can work directly with the developer/team and ask questions about context when needed
- Ideally, credit in the game or on the store page for the localization work
For smaller indie projects, I’m happy to volunteer my localization work free of charge in exchange for portfolio experience and credit.
