Rain on Route 9: the patrol lot, unit 41, the Gas-N-Go

END OF WATCH is my first game: a free, short first-person psychological horror game for Windows.

Officer Tom Rourke. One night shift. Five calls. Brennick, a town of four thousand on Route 9, October 14. It rained and did not stop. Linda on dispatch sends Tom out, one call after another, and nothing he finds tonight makes sense, until the last call.

  • About 30 minutes, played in one sitting
  • An optional PS1 look (Settings, Look)
  • Built around sound: play it with headphones
  • Made solo in Godot

Play it free: https://matecog10.itch.io/end-of-watch

If you play it, I would love to hear what you thought. Content warning: not meant for children; disturbing themes, sudden loud jump scares and flashing lights.
