Under what license does this operate?

I did a little more investigation and I think I found what might be causing the issue. I investigated a random file of yours called Tree09.glb.

The baseColor_2.png of that file texture actually does contain transparency (about 76% of its pixels are transparent), so the alpha information seems to be present in the PNG.

However, in the GLTF material that uses baseColor_2.png, I can see that the material has doubleSided: true and the baseColorTexture, but there doesn't seem to be an alphaMode such as MASK or BLEND (or an alphaCutoff).

So it looks like the texture contains the correct alpha information, but the GLTF material may not be telling the renderer to actually use that alpha for transparency. This could be why the transparent parts are showing as black/opaque in Blender, Godot, GDevelop, etc.

I could be misunderstanding something, but I hope this could help identifying the issue.

Hi! I just bought your Forest Pixel Perfect 3D Asset Pack, and it looks really good, so thank you for making it! I’m having the same problem that another user mentioned a few years ago. The PNG textures don’t seem to have an alpha channel, so the leaves and flowers appear with black backgrounds/borders instead of being transparent.

In your reply to that user, you mentioned that the alpha textures could be found in the folder named “Textures.” However, in my download I only have a folder called “texture.” It does contain the PNGs, but the PNGs I have appear to be fully opaque and don’t seem to contain any transparency information.

I also noticed that the YouTube video you linked in that discussion is no longer publicly available, so unfortunately I can’t use it to follow the solution.

Could you help me resolve this? It seems that I might be missing the alpha textures or perhaps have an older or different version of the asset pack.

I am new to this so it could also be that I am making a mistake. Thank you for helping :)

Is it possible to use this in Godot?

Same here, can this work on Godot?

I love how you mix horror with simplicity. It creates a very powerful atmosphere. Are you available for hire, by any chance, to design the environment for my PSX/PS1 game?
