Thank you! We are so happy about this. :) This is also one of the tons of jam games we two did together that we are most proud of, so there’s that. :D

Thank you! That’s what we were aiming for. :)

Thank you! Yes, this feels kinda retro in retrospect. :D Glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you very much!

We also didn’t have a volume slider and just slapped a mute button in for good measure, because we couldn’t get it done in time. Sometimes sacrifices have to be made for a release.

That was an absolutely beautiful experience. Thank you for making this, it is beautiful.

And thank you for the sound warning. :)

And thank you for the sound warning. :)

Thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate it. :)

And also thank you for the bug report. The music was indeed not looping. I just committed a fix, the next version (if there is one) will contain the fix!

There are keyboard controls! You can use WASD and the arrow keys for movement and E for interaction. Just possession was something that we didn’t find a good solution for.

Thank you for your comment. We really tried to use the little time that was left to make puzzles that the people will enjoy and not ragequit on.

Glad you like it. Benny really cooked with the art!

Yeees, when I saw that in our tile set (that my team mate Benny created) I had to place it in the levels! Thanks for noticing!

Awwww, das freut mich sehr! <3

You should be able to find my portfolio somewhere in my socials :D Feel free to message me, but unfortunately I am not the right person to provide jobs in the industry.

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you! Yes, we didn’t manage to get audio sliders in last minute, so mute buttons had to do. Glad you liked it. :)

Thanks! Usually we stray to far away from the theme of jams. Glad it worked out this time. :)

Aww, thanks!

Thank you! Glad you like it.

Thanks!

We really wanted to have more puzzles, but we ran out of time. We even have more mechanics implemented that are completely unused. After the jam voting is finished, we want to add some more puzzles. :)

Thank you for the kind words. Yes, we do work in the industry!

This is art. We laughed so much. 🧠🫀

The art is amazing. I feel enlightened.

Exactly how anyone experiences their job when it becomes (or is) mundane! And it’s amazingly on topic for the Jam!

Mein Körper und mein Geist sind jetzt gestärkt! Beides wurde gut stimuliert. :)

Nieder dem Kapitalismus! (Nette Satire und witzige Idee mit dem “Greenscreen”-Effekt)

Very cool. Some of the puzzles were a bit too vague for me, so I bruteforced my way through some of the blank spaces I needed to fill. The ending left me a bit unsatisfied, but it was a great experience nonetheless. Thank you for making this.

This was such a cute game! I love how all endings have a twist to them. Also, I love the art style.

Cute short game, it really shows how versatile a knife is compared to a broom. Thank you for the nice 30 Minutes. :)

You probably did not select a die, making all roles default to 1. When seeing the big "Roll" button, next to it on the right is a box with selectable dice. Every turn, you get a D6, if you are not already having one, but you can collect more dice in the levels.

If you still can't roll more than a 1, it's probably a bug and we are sorry that it doesn't work as expected.

Oh, you have an AZERTY keyboard? I wouldn't say that's a european keyboard, we are German and use QWERTZ.

Sorry for giving you a hard time. :D Thanks for your kind words, though, we really appreciate it.

Thanks, I will try that. Maybe we release a bug-fix version after the rating time.

That was the idea! Thanks :)

Thank you, we worked hard on the visuals, that means a lot to us! :)

Regarding the movement: Yea, we aren't happy as well. This was already a compromise to get the character to work properly at all.

Thank you so much! <3

Thanks! Those collectibles are healing/refilling the ammo. The boss can be a bit overwhelming, depending on how well the AI manages to get up the stairs.
Making the levels procedural would work, but requires way more planning. At the moment everything is scripted with trigger boxes.

This is fun! I usually kill myself better than I kill the enemies, but I really like the usage of the theme.

Thanks! Yea, we ran into a couple of issues with the movement and that was the best compromise that we could use.
Regarding the UI: I don't know if moving it makes it better, but I also built the level and know where everything is, so you are probably right.

Yaay, MonoGame!

Hey, thank you for your detailed review!

Let me address the points you mentioned here:

First and foremost, they are all valid and I would address them with fixes, if I could.

The level select was a must for us, because it made testing easier. The softlocks where intended and originally you should be able to restart the game there, but due to time pressure, we decided that "going into the menu and select the level again" was a compromise that was fine.

Same goes for the controls: We thought about adding them in, but because of time constraints we put them into the readme. Now they are available on the game page, the readme and the GitHub readme. I would add them in, but because of the voting phase, the game is locked.

I never tried alt+tab... I should do that more often when testing games. But to be fair: The fullscreenmode was added like half an hour before submitting, it was originally just windowed. Also if that bothers you: You can make the game windowed and change the resolution, by editing the config file that is created when starting the game for the first time.

But overall, we are very glad that you enjoyed the game!

Thank you for your comment, I added the controls here and they can also be found in the Readme file alongside the game.
