I like how hard this game is. It appears like a "I'm gonna finish this in 5 minutes" thing and then it evolves into a "ok - next time I'll pass this obstacle and then I'll probably die again". I think this was exactly the intetion behind this game: It's like life is. It's not easy, but with every mistake we learn and next time we do a little better. And I think every aspect of the game has this: You need to master the controls (jump, then move horizontally), position your character right before jumps, memorize passages and dangerous objects, try to see clear even when the view is distorted... Other games usually challenge you on one or two of these, but this one here challenges you on every aspect - and I think it's on purpose.
I bet the Anomalocaris could've made the controls easier to use. Add checkpoints. Make it easier to navigate the levels. But the whole purpose of the game is to challenge you, make you learn, make you better and ultimately succeed.
I was able to complete it and I love the sequence at the end. It has so much room for interpretation, but I chose to interpret it as "I was able to beat the game and the boss [which doesn't mean killing the boss] and for this, the boss accepts/respects me and leaves me in peace. I'm left behind - stronger than I ever was before. It all was a test and I passed it - I didn't quit, I grid my teeth and went through it.".

This is sooooo good. <3 The intro reminded me of my childhood - games like Maniac Mansion or Zak McKracken and it's so funny how those scientists overestimate their abilities to contain our little slime and how it can not escape from the bubble they put it in, but how it can control gravity (and does it - haha, that screen, how it flies out of the screen and how it's just the start and then it completely escalates xD). Also a cool detail: The drops of the music are synced with the scenes in the intro, making it such a nice experience to watch!
Once it starts, it's a looooooot of fun. Very satisfying to destroy the containers (nice particles!) and also the computers (as soon as you hit them they show a test screen - that level of detail <3 - magnificent!) and to guide the little lovely slime to the exit, just using gravity and turning the world around it. The levels are also designed in a way that the difficulty increases so that it stays challenging to the end.
Only sad part is that I couldn't see the lovely little slime escape into freedom (because the game is not finished), but that's expected when making a game in 7 days. I'm happy that the developer focused on making the experience nice and providing lovely little details, not on having a complete game.
This is really awesome! Had a lot of fun! Of course, very little to explore, but I felt totally like wanting to explore more. If you would add darkness, torches, different bombs, different dig sites (so you know before digging what "quality" you can expect) et cetera then this could become a really really good game!
