Yes, you are.

Yes.

The jam has already ended, but if you'd like to submit your game late, let us know and we will provide you with a link you can use to add your game.

You are correct. The person above is giving you false information. See my other post with the invite link.

Here's a link you can use to submit your game: /jam/390606/add-game/4834650/950984?token=XyTkh6K5onfOoQJeMya5NgI...
And sorry for the late response. This year we've been a bit overwhelmed with how many people participated.

There is currently no official Discord server.

Thanks for the kind words!

We decided to simplify the voting criteria this year.

Each project can be voted on by the jam participants. Multiple criteria are taken into consideration. And yes, you can get extra points for publishing parts of your code under a free license as long as it's indicated somewhere on your game's page.

In your project settings go into More -> Admins and add your friend.

Just a reminder that you have until July 26, 2025 at 1p.m. UTC to submit your games. If you are not able to submit your game within this time frame you can request a submission link from us that will allow you to submit your game after the deadline, however it is highly recommended that you submit your game by tomorrow.

Yes, that sounds alright.

There is only the unofficial one. We chose not to have a Discord group for this jam due to Discord's predatory nature.

If you have any questions regarding the jam feel free to ask them here and I'll do my best to answer them to the best of my ability.

Yes. Feel free to use projects you started before the jam as a base.

He did; if you want to contact the author I suggest you do so through Discord as he doesn't appear to be active on Itch anymore.

He made this game in Godot. If I remember correctly, each screen has multiple variants that are overlayed on top of each other.

But you can...

Thanks to everyone who submitted a game to this jam and see you next year.

Thanks so much for this! It makes reviewing games much easier for people who don't meet the hardware requirements or simply don't have enough time to play them all themselves.

Hello! While the game is pretty good on its own, I fail to see how it incorporates the jam's theme and therefore there isn't much I can say about this game in the context of this jam, positive or negative.

Yes, and if you would like to submit your game during the voting period, upload it to Itch first, and let me know so that I can give a single-use submit link.

Hello,

to address your concerns:

1. No, each participant only gets one vote per game.

2. All of them have demos/free versions available for download on the game's page as far as I am aware, if you find entries that do not please let me know and I'll deal with them promptly.

3. There was a large volume of unrelated games submitted to the jam and they have all been manually removed.

If you would still like to submit your game to the jam, please upload it to Itch and I'll give you single-use submit link.

It was almost certainly on purpose; this user is one of many such accounts (likely automated) that upload low quality games (or in this case Minecraft resource packs) to Itch and then submit them to random jams hoping that someone who doesn't know any better will buy them. This submission, as well as all of the other unrelated games that this user submitted have been disqualified from the jam.

Yes, updates that fix bugs or improve upon playability are allowed; I could've made that clearer in the jam description.

Yes, your design is perfectly acceptable. I apologize for not responding earlier.

Yes, the change is due to several participants requesting more time to work on their games.

I personally recommend Wikimedia Commons.

As long as you follow the theme, yes.
