The game was enjoyable until this singular questline. It went from enjoyable to the most rage inducing bullshit I have had to deal with in a very long time. This bullshit needs to be nerfed into oblivion or allowed to be skipped entirely for a win, because this is supposed to be a porn game, not a fucking Soulslike.

So like, is there a bug currently related to the characters ability to gain experience?
Because holy shit is it annoying to not be able to grind to make those boss fights easier, especially since I have Marie at level 14, Ran at 14, but Elucia is seemingly hard stuck at level 10 and no matter how many fights I do, nobody seems to actually gain experience except for once every blue moon where they randomly level up, usually because I went back to the starting area and beat enough of the super low level enemies for them to have gained a single level, where it then seems to get stuck again for another few hours before randomly deciding to work again for one character at a time.
I'm playing on normal difficulty without anything unique equipped, but if the experience I am supposed to have gained by now was reflected in my character levels, I would be like, level 50 by now with all of the grinding I have been doing to try to get enough resources to be able to deal with the boss fights.
I only just got Ran, because her boss fight was so incredibly BS with my levels hard stuck like this that I had to quite literally have a perfect fight in order to win at all.
This game currently feels really odd, which is understandable considering how early in development it is.
The main thing that confused me was the very sudden ending with a black screen telling me that I failed to survive for thirty minutes even though I was at full on everything and thought I was doing pretty well.
Maybe a bit more of a text based tutorial that explains the world and such as well as an endless mode since having the game on a set time limit really makes it difficult to fully get a grip on what you're doing in the first playthrough before the game abruptly ends.
It definitely seems to have promise though, especially the card game portion, although it's currently a bit difficult at first since you essentially have to win twice in order to win once and your own cards tend to "damage" you more than they do your opponent.
Definitely keeping my eye on this though, because it does seem to have a good ground for a really fun open world game.
