Weird. I started it up again today, and both issues (inventory and arrow keys) were gone.

Also, a minor one: arrow keys don’t navigate around the map any more.

I just came back to this for the first time since December and tried the new Linux build. A major regression (makes the game basically impossible):

In inventory view, it seems to be auto-middle-clicking. It affects both the bag and the store, so if I go to Vanille’s store and hover over any icons or list items, they very quickly switch places, together with the next thing that moves under the cursor, and the next thing, and the next thing… It also happens in the ordinary inventory view, where it dumps loads of items into the scene.

Everything else seems to be working fine, so it’s odd that it’s just in that one place.

I had difficulty beating Cerelia first time through, but after learning and practising the fight system (including a lot of stuff which probably isn’t explained by that point in the game), I could beat her easily at level 11 or so, IIRC. I also didn’t have any problems at that level with the Tunnels fights, despite what the walkthough says.

Before I forget, on the original Linux version, I’ve also had crashes during the second angel fight, and also I think somewhere around the Klehss fight (sorry that I can’t remember where exactly). In neither case did the autosave seem to do anything when I restarted.

Great! Seems to be fixed now. Thanks a lot!

Great update!

Minor bug in the Linux version: Entering the row 1 north of the save room in Sablee causes the background music to cut out. The music only restarts after entering the save room or ocean (and cuts out again any time I go back to that row).

Nice; got it first time with the changes!

I've been trying out all sorts of approaches in the editor, and none seem fast enough. Well, except for hitting off the sides, but then I can't get it to line up.

Is the jump at the end possible? It looks like no-one's done it yet.

Hey, it's a great track, man. I've completed the “hell” route maybe 7 or 8 times, but the “heaven” route just once. Are there any more than two variations? The “hell” route was very difficult to navigate at first, but now I know it, it doesn't seem so difficult to do quickly (though, with it being quite long, there are lots of little things that can go wrong). I still find “heaven” hard because of the tightrope section and the following jump parts in the spiral.

Just to have it recorded somewhere, I managed a time of about 4:15 on the “heaven” route. I could definitely grind it to be a bit quicker, but surely not 3:00 like the “hell” route.

1:17.437. I wish I could do it quickly!

If this is the track I think it is, I got at non-shortcut run of 33.227, and a shortcut run of 20.591.

Don't jump! Sorry, wrong track. I just did the jump off the kerb, got a lucky landing, and rushed for the finish.

21.674 (if this is the track I think it is).

Okay, I can do steering rather than braking to get 23.027 22.927.

23.604 23.048. I found that if I took the finish line at full speed it wouldn't register, so this time includes braking just before the line.

Meanwhile, I did a reasonably clean no-shortcut lite run of 1:34.256 1:32.952.

Reasonably clean run of 33.737.

I've been doing this one for a while, but only managed to get down to 41.266.

22.534

What exactly is the bug? Things seem vaguely physically plausible to me.
