ty for playing and glad you enjoyed!!! if you really think you cant beat it than theres a vod of someone here, tho i encourage you to keep trying!! https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2832847442 and also in a nutshell, they're both the results of an arms race spanning thousands of years between 2 fighting states. rubos more of a traditional emotionless robot while X3 is more dramatic but one of them has to win due to there not being enough resources left on earth for both states. the story was kind of a strange blend between absurdist humor and me actually trying to world build tho so i dont blame you for finding it confusing. still, ty for the feedback!

tysm for the feedback!! (dm dokuro the goat, the second i realized they allowed their music to be used for unmonetized games i started milking it dry). i remember making the lightning's hitbox like super thin but im pretty sure i accidently made the shake affect apply to the hitbox too rather than just the display cause its range to like triple. that ones on me
tysm!!! i wont lie tho i was like an infant during the newgrounds era so i'd say w larps on my part. also the difficulty's 100% my fault, ended up making like the entire bossfight during the last day so i had no time for playtesters. i was just aiming to make it difficult for me so i could pad out the run time.
// spoiler warning for those just scrolling the comments!!!!//
tysm!!! and sorry about the ending seeming unsatisfying, i can't do anything to change your perception on it but i am gonna try to explain my thought process as it was intentional! basically throughout the entire game its being built up that like this is august's computer, something happened to him, you're playing as parker investigating the computer, you learn about their relationship, something is trying to stop you, yadda yadda. from your perspective, you're helping parker find closure, you're searching desperately for an answer that could ease his grief. while from the anomalys perspective (hopefully you read that massive boring school paper), it being a manifestation of nostalgia, its desperately trying to protect the last pocket of august's legacy untouched by his disappearance. neither side is technically in the right or wrong, but both sides represent unhealthy ways of dealing with grief. so when you get to the ultimate file simply titled "KEEP", having it actually contain an answer to what happened to august or something that would be worth preserving would go against the entire message i was trying to make. anyways sorry this got a little incoherent, i tend to ramble but still, ty for playing my game and im glad you enjoyed!
