What a well-realized game! I truly enjoyed it. Deserves to be longer. The pipe minigame was a tricky one.

Wow, I don't think you'll find another game like this in the whole entire jam. Genuinely a fresh idea!

Something about it gave me Buckshot Roulette vibes, and I mean that as the utmost compliment.

It was very hard to learn the proper timing of things as the tutorial kept pausing the game after each action. But I got the hang of it in the end. (Sort of.)

Impressive work overall!

Cheers, that means a lot! A lot of ideas got left on the table, so I'll be adding a bunch of stuff to flesh out the game post-jam. Thanks for playing!

Clever idea! I reached the end just as I felt like I was getting the hang of it, but that last level took some trial and error.

Really well-executed idea. Didn't even get close to paying off my debt, but had fun trying.

Well, I didn't get the top score, but I figured out how to make chain reactions happen!

Very enjoyable game. Could've kept playing for a long time.

In playing this game, I have learned that I don't know how long a second is. This makes things difficult.

Your game doesn't just fit the theme; it is the theme. All the different distractions are creative as well, though I struggled enough without them.

Giving this a near-perfect score. Way more fun than I initially expected. Loved it.

Tough game! Has a nice crunchy retro feel that I can always appreciate. It's been mentioned, but there's a lot going on, so it's easy to lose your place.

Well, while I'm dreadfully bad at it, the game just feels really satisfying to play. And the visual style is... *chef's kiss*

I approve.

Really impressed by this. Visuals are great, the atmosphere is tense, and the audio is immersive.

I felt safe near tables, but less so when having to explore and not knowing when the next countdown would start. The scribbled notes added to the creep factor as well. I like it!

( I only got stuck for a bit when reading a note, not realizing the button to put it down was 'Q' )

This genre is just a great fit for the theme, with or without vampires. Could easily see myself getting hooked on it.  A stronger focus on the rewind ability as a core mechanic might serve the game well. Good job overall!

Also, this cover / main menu art is spectacular.

Damn I really enjoyed that, didn't quite make it to the 8th floor but perhaps I'll try again later!

Love the look of the game, and the sounds are good and crunchy as well. The item prefix system is simple, but it made me think twice about what I should use, discard, or carry to identify later.

A couple things I found myself wishing for: faster movement (by tapping the key perhaps?) and a "wait a turn" -key. Do you reckon the latter would've made the game too easy?

I did eventually figure out I could walk into interactible objects to force enemies to move within range, so as to not give them a free attack. But then there were times when my inventory would be full, and I couldn't walk into objects if they would give an item. The exception to this rule was altars (and anvils, water wells, etc.) which would always advance a turn when walked into, even if you didn't meet the requirements to make use of them. So this could be used as a cheesy way to pass turns. I resisted the urge, feeling this may not have been intended.

Great work overall!
