Appreciate the critique and kind words, I definitely need to tidy up some of the art for readabilities sake, thanks!

I believe one unique monster is in reference to that being a monster which only appears once in your adventure/ hex.  As an example you could have four monsters: Bats, Hellhound, Skeleton Knight and Grave-Dragon. There is only one Grave-Dragon but there are multiple hellhounds, bats and skeleton knights roaming your hexes. That is how I interpreted this requirement.

Incredible layout! In awe of how you've fit so much information in a trifold without compromising layout. Stellar illustrations, the area diagrams seem like a good aide for players and gm's alike.

thanks for the feedback! haha yes, I know what you mean, I re-read my submission and thought I had  a typo with 'fusit' as well. Definitely needed another pass before posting.

Very cool adventure! It's already been said but the cover is awesome, really captures the science-fantasy vibe!

Incredible use of space! Very succinct writing and the art is wonderful. That cover is amazing, I love a dungeon shaped like an animal head, great vibes!

This is top notch, the adventure is wild and looks like a lot of fun. The retreating and law of attraction mechanics the lizard uses seem like a fun way to integrate the titles namesake, and that cover art is incredible!

Incredible way to lay it all out, you've got me wanting to try this one-page format next time. Awesome job!

Chock full of evocative writing and a great story,  fits the theme well! You've got a great layout but the graphic hierarchy gets lost with all the colours and white text/ font. Your B&W version showcases your layout much better and is a lot easier to navigate.

Thanks for the feedback! If I can find the time I'd like to do an expanded version with a beefed-up key, cleaned up illustrations and  in-depth notes on the islands/ story. Hopefully one day I can get back to it!

thanks,  I appreciate the kind words! I wanted to add hooks that would distract players from the main adventure-goals. The possibility of finding a dinosaur egg would definitely get players excited I hope!

thanks!

thanks for checking it out! I'm glad you could feel the urgency in the adventure, it's a tricky thing to get across in short-form work!

Yeah I think I needed to key the temple or key the islands, it definitely was a struggle for space. If I committed to just the point-crawl I think it might have solved some of the feedback I've been receiving, something to consider next time. Thanks for the critique and the kind words!

Appreciate the kind words, glad to hear I was able to get a chuckle or two!

I'm always worried I'm designing too linear so I tried to throw in some different situations that could spark some choice from players, thanks for noticing!

thanks, glad you like it!

yes, folk horror!! The omens were really intriguing, great vibe going here. The marionette and Fox omens especially sound super cool!

Map is really well done, as are the spot illustrations, very evocative and appropriately moody!  I did find the blue coloured flavour text a little difficult to read with that font, but honestly top-notch entry!

thank, had a lot of fiddling with layout to get it all packed in!

really cool direction your took, can definitely see the inspirations. I might have to check out Liminal Horror, looks neat!

Had a lot of fun messing about with the layout, thanks!

thanks! I tried to make the most of the format, it was a challenge for sure.

I was hoping since the sword doesn't really offer anything too crazy besides keep the hydra sealed, its tasks could be shared by the group. I definitely see what you mean though, its got me thinking of some new tasks to make the sword more group friendly. thanks!

thanks! The Hydra is a detachment, which is multiple monsters in one. Once you critically injure it, it is weakened losing a head. It gets a single attack but because it is a 'blast' the attack affects a larger area hitting more characters. Here is some info from the SRD if you are interested: https://cairnrpg.com/second-edition/wardens-guide/detachments/

I'll admit with the limited space I left things pretty sparse, as I'm finding from some of the comments majority of people would prefer more direction, so I'll definitely consider that next time

thanks, a 'Saturday morning cartoon' is pretty apt!

thanks for the feedback, I might have made things a little too loosey-goosey in regards to finding the sword. I liked the idea of exploring the dungeon more than once and having the players know they are in a race against time. I was hoping they would use the knowledge from the first delve to feel empowered in breezing through the dungeon a second time, knowing what's coming and preparing ahead in some instances.

yes,  multi-headed  giant serpents always make for good sword and sorcery monsters!

Tried to strike a good balance between points-of-interest with a looming task, always fun to get a little sidetracked in an adventure.

I was hoping to create a good balance of exploring and keeping the players on a clock, making their decision to restore the blade or return it quickly feel meaningful!

This has a great cut-out animation/ Monty Python vibe! Incredible layout and very succinct writing.  Rhee the god of feral pigs sounds like an absolute menace!

thanks, I really tried to have fun with the art .

This is a really cool puzzle dungeon, the adventure has a great story to draw players in!  I like your interpretation of the title,  it was one of the titles I suggested, well done!

I adore the premise, it is such a wild plot and it would be really fun to play! Super clean layout and easy to understand, the art is very evocative of all the sword and sorcery classics!!

This looks like so much fun, the premise is zany and had me hooked from the start! Your writing is very tight but super flavourful, really great art!

This has such a great 70s comics vibe, awesome art/ layout with the NPC's and cover!

Thanks for the feedback! Originally I wanted to leave it up to the person running the game to come up with who had the blade, and bring them up when the story called for it. In hindsight I see how it would have been better to more deliberate and include Calebos in the temple, maybe blocking the return of the blade.

Glad you like 'em, definitely a little Zelda inspired.

Great setting for an adventure with an incredible amount of detail in the world building, well done!

The talking animal trope feels like it fits well in the world of Gloam, glad you like him.
