Thanks for the detailed playthrough. You're right that Hint (0) can read as no hints left; it counts hints used. I've noted that wording, the repeated pending-clue descriptions, and making swap and Put back easier to discover. Glad the compact layout and keyboard controls worked well.

I’m testing NookGrid, a new independent daily puzzle. You arrange nine neighborhood places on a 3×3 grid so all the clues fit. It is free in the browser, with hints, undo, and a result you can share.

I’d especially appreciate feedback on three things:
1. Did the instructions make the first move clear?
2. Did any clue have more than one reasonable interpretation?
3. Did the controls get in your way, especially on a phone?
If you stop before finishing, where you stopped would be useful too. This is an early experiment, so honest criticism is welcome.
