The Blossom Tree Easter Egg is a rare event in Love Maniac that has a 2% chance of occurring when entering the hallway from the room leading to Nebby's Shop, or entering the room from the hallway.
How to Trigger
To trigger the easter egg, repeatedly walk between the room leading to Nebby's Shop and the hallway.
Each time the player passes between the two areas, there is a 2% chance for the easter egg to activate. There is no additional item, interaction, or requirement needed.
When successfully triggered, the normal transition is replaced by the easter egg sequence.
Event
The player is taken to a strange area containing a large blossom tree. The sequence features unusual scenery and a series of messages concerning memory, identity, and the player's surroundings.
As the player progresses through the area, the tree begins to deteriorate, with its leaves falling and its branches breaking apart. The sequence eventually ends and the player is returned to the normal game.
Trivia
The easter egg is not guaranteed to occur when crossing between the areas due to its 2% activation chance.
The blossom tree is the central feature of the event.
The sequence contains several references to memory and identity.
The event returns the player to the normal game after it concludes.
Note: The easter egg can be encountered naturally while moving between the two areas, so repeatedly walking back and forth is not required for the event to be encountered during normal gameplay.
