for the first time in probably a decade, i thought about how i did competitive swimming when i was very young and a girl the first time. my body wasnt made for it.

incredible story that made me feel emotions about memories i didnt know i had. i was really moved by the mention of the beginning that sports are inherently unfair - how can people say trans athletes make sports unfair when the unfairness is the point?

i was enamored with how the story was not a typical narrative. it felt like long-form poetry to me, and the presentation really enhances it. the watercolor visuals, the waving backgrounds and sprites, all help contribute to an intoxicating atmosphere. the swimdex added so much context to the story, and even felt like a narrative extension to it.

this team did an absolutely phenomenal job. thank you all for making this!

its amazing how much can be said with so little words. what beautiful poetry and look into these twos' lives. thank you for making this!

as someone who grew up with creepypasta, i love the way that this game leverages creepypasta to be sinister in an atypical way. for example, i liked that the game only became the typical "desaturated landscape, red means scary" creepypasta fare as a result of jinglebug being angry with max. theres been a lot of "game character comes to life and wants to be with you forever" games, but this one sticks out. maxs history with jinglebug helps, i think. it feels like something that someone could conceivably talk themselves into, especially when struggling with the isolation that comes with gender dysphoria. there were a few things i found lacking, like no back button, weird skip function, and some dialogue not making sense with choices i had made (max was weirded out by jinglebug calling her max, even though i made the choice to have her put in her real name). fantastic game, thank you for making this!

this soundtrack is amazing. the worldbuilding was very interesting and im definitely going to be thinking of the coast and the gods even after the fact. thank you for making this!

claret remarking that she knows shes being used again made me sad in conjunction with how sylvia treated her. the soundtrack was also great. i liked that the worldbuilding was light but still enough to think on. thanks for making this!

(spoilers) oscar ive been so excited to read this since you submitted it!! i love that snowy is not explicitly evil, but has all the tell tale signs of a typical gen ai yes-man. my skin turned cold after dani damaged her so severely and snowy reassured her that she had done nothing wrong. it makes me wonder how many other times snowy had to have her shell replaced were also a result of dani lashing out and destroying her.

i really like how subtle your characterization of snowy is, from remarking that she is extremely different from an actual cat but that dani doesnt know the difference to the way she tries to diffuse danis anger at isabela by reaffirming her paranoia. snowy wasnt trying to make dani worse- snowy doesnt have any intentions at all- but it does make me wonder how dani would have ended up if she wasnt exposed to snowy so young.

absolutely remarkable commentary on the way gen ai separates us from other people and the way it removes peoples ability to deal with interpersonal conflict in a meaningful way. paired with beautiful writing and art. youve done so much with such a short experience that still felt impactful and that no time was wasted. thank you for making this!

ive never had a game go from "hehe thats hot" to crying back to back multiple times before. absolutely phenomenal.

a beautiful, painful, violent haze. if i wanted to try to convey plurality to my singlet friends, i would probably show them this. its a reminder that the internal experience is so important even when it feels silly or stupid or fake. the art and music really elevates the story. i feel so seen, thank you for making and sharing this with the world!

i see my life and my childhood so much in this vn. the sonic autism, the people online i shouldnt have talked to, the fear of the tails doll, fear of my past, fear of the future. ive never played something that felt like it was made for me like this. living with hate and living with guilt, i see myself in both sonia and rosy. it really is teeth all the way down. thank you for making this.
