I should also add that Diamond Weapon is an Elite Mark in the desert of Darmencles Castle, and the mark can be obtained at Hunter's Guild HQ once you've completed 40 hunts.  The man at the counter when you enter the HQ will give it to you, but not until 40 hunts done.

I found a post in here that says to give Arazlam the 4 Weapon Fragments.  

Any help on where to find the other 2 Weapon bosses appreciated.

Just want to follow-up that at level 60, the Ami Big Guard + Vera Zona Seeker strategy worked perfectly on Diamond and Omega Weapons and Lazura at Gygas Arena.   I had Nobumasa (self-boost stats, healer), Oalston (flare), Ami (Big Guard, Maelstrom), Vera (Zona Seeker, Bahamut).

Does the story reveal the purpose and use of the Weapon fragments?

I have the fragment from Omega and Diamond now - how many are there and what are their names?

Could you attach the map, or provide a description of where Frostwood Clearing is in Merged World?  The latest versions don't appear to display the dragon locations in the map & guides folder. I checked 1.11 and 1.12 and they don't see to be there.

Would any one care to share any tips or strategy they used to defeat Lazula in Gygas Arena?  Or Omega Weapon in the Ancient Cave/Castle?

I'm level 56, have most of the top equipment from merged world, Oalston has Ultima, Vera has Bahamut, Elina has Holy, Ami has most of the enemy skills, most of my heavy hitters are at 700+ Vigor.  

Using a combination of Holy absorbing/resistance gear + reflect gets me fairly far with Lazula, but his serrated edge eventually gets me.

Been a while since I tried Omega Weapon.

Can you point me in the right direction for Edea's Tome?  I'm using Oalston as a regular party member.

I'm not sure if this is it or not, but I went back, and if I switched parties while NOT on a save marker, I was able to switch parties and complete the pyramid.

If it wasn't "being on the save marker and switching parties" that was causing it, then it has to do with party composition when you split up the teams.  I forget the split when I was getting the crash, but the split when I didn't get the crash was:

Team 1: Vahn, Oalston, Siegfried, Nombasu

Team 2: Vera, Elina, Darius, Ami

I also entered the cutscene at the pyramid that leads to the party split/selection, with Vera as my party leader.

I feel ya bro. Eager to get back into it, stuck in the same situation.

Just adding to the list to confirm this bug. I'm also stuck in progressing any further in the game until this is resolved. 

I'm running v1.1.12 and get that error.  I completed Osteinchyl, went to Esto Yensa, got the cut scene, picked my parties, went in.  The crash happens when I try to switch between parties, every time.
