You click on something that might go in a yard (plant/gnome), then go to sleep  (bed), then talk to him (phone). I think the most fun lies later in the game with all these dialogue options; give it another try if you can! There are many other people to talk to besides Tom.

cool

It's something

Interesting and cool in a lot of ways. Unfortunately, 99% won't make it past the first section because of how difficult it is, it's ok to make a hard game, but I think, truthfully, this is the fault of the design of that section, especially because it's the first one. Giving the player any tool to help would have been nice.

Can you call and complete all 13 character’s? (Including easter eggs)

Wait, never mind, just a skill issue

cool quicktimes

made me uncomfortable, solid

simple, and executed.

Have you found all 13 characters (Including the easter eggs)???

Lovely vibes

Love the look and idea, but the sound gets annoying, and the controls are a little unintuitive. Very solid game though!

great

played it twice

very very cool

this is really good

A really cool concept and executed really well

neat

Very cool

I love the almost Mario Maker-like course you constructed here! Would be nice to have a directional indicator though

Thanks for the advice! I tried a few different solutions for the velocity and ended up with an equation that takes a normalized charge, then raises it to a power, then multiplies it by the direction vector and a power multiplier (Probably pretty close to what you imagined). So you could say it's intentionally unintuitive in some ways. But I used this scrappily to effectively expand the power ranges where you can hit a lower-power shot and still be able to hit a more powerful, exponential shot.

I had no idea KE was calculated like that, honestly really useful to know. That would explain why each similar variation still felt wonky. If I could will myself to touch this game again, I'd go back and try to implement a solution like the one you gave. My excuse is that I haven't taken physics yet, so....

I hope you at least enjoyed it a bit!

peak

pretty sick

this game was difficult, great job!

neat

Interesting concept. Good first project, but you can't adjust jump mid-air, and overall, the game is too easy.

One aspect of game design that could definitely be applied here is messaging and telegraphing through color (ex. mana cost is in blue, but mana is green?) But overall, a good, simple card game to make in a week.

Ive been playing for about 2hr and I still can't beat the last level, I got to 3675

Really polished, found out how to fly

I’m glad you enjoyed it! Completely on my part with the text thing, it clears the text that is typing at the time you press space, which is completely unintuitive I now realize, I’ll make sure to keep that in mind for any other projects.

Smooth, well made

Really nice style and polish. Music is very solid. Simple and effecitve, though I found a bug where sometimes you would lose the ability to move and then never lose after you would die.

Art style is simple and appealing. Movement and jump feels floaty. Obviously needs more content, but keeping it simple is the goal of the jam.

Love this style, simple yet elegant and suspenseful

Overall movement feels smooth

Feels polished and well made

genuinly hilarious

Fun

Very cool!
