WE HAVE A WINNER!

INTRUDER by - Oppositestudio -
https://oppositestudio.itch.io/intruder

It's mandatory now that we all praise this amazing developer for 20min, then continue making art. Hehe

Thank you to everyone who joined in for one last hurrah. This has been a wild ride - a few classic late nights, way too many logic bricks, and one hell of a send-off for BGMC.

What do we do now? We humblebrag! We actually made games! Games to share, expand, or mess around with. Take your projects, run with them, or just let them sit in the archives as a glorious piece of forum history. Do whatever you think is best.

Massive thanks to everyone who made one last game for old times' sake. Keep making cool stuff!

I can see myself playing this on the bus.   It has this Flappy Bird addiction going for it.

Quite a large level! Fun to explore, and it reminds me a bit of Morrowind :)

Quite a large level! Fun to explore, and it reminds me a bit of Morrowind :)

Vibes!!!   Love the style.  The ships tracking does get a bit jank towards the end, but I think that's an easy fix.

Oldschool.   I can see this in an actual arcade.   Gonna challenge my friends with this game.

Tough game yo!!   Was fun.  Red dude had me on the edge of my seat!

I can't play this.   The game works perfectly.   I just can't play this alone.  Too spooky!

Yooooo. This is so well done!   The physics is slightly sluggish.   But do continue working on this.  Would play more <3

Make a community post for others to find :)

WHATEVER!! <3

Hahahah. Thanks ^-^

You just missed the submission window, it seems.   :'(

I'll extend it by a day :))

I removed 2 submissions; their publishing dates were before the jam started.   Please revise your votes!

Ayo! Lemme see what I can do. Not sure if an admin can add the page tho

Final stretch.   3ish hours to go!!

Voting will commence soon.   Please don't vote for your own game <3

Hey everyone, just a quick heads-up on game submissions:

Make sure to give proper credit where it is due. Shout out to yourself, your friends, and any original artists if you grabbed assets online.

Try to build your game as a Windows executable if you can. If that is not an option, just drop your project files and let us know the engine and version you used.  (Make sure to pack and test your game!)

Include a quick, easy description of how to play along with the controls so everyone can jump right in.

Definitely feel free to humble brag, post your work in the community section, and share it on socials. You made it, so go show it off to the world!

Cant help with this :// , but maybe scale down to one level and make it a puzzle vibe?     My game got overscoped too

Hi yall! Would be cool to see everyone's work in progress.   Feel free to make a thread and update us all with silly screenshots and videos ^-^    - not mandatory, but fun.

After not-so-careful consideration of making a spinny wheel with a bunch of themes.
It has spoken. We shall follow.

Theme:
Make whatever you want! Your imagination is the limit <3

Go have fun, don't stress,  use this day to get your creativity flowing.
----Happy blending!!

Ayo!   Sad to hear you stepped away from the industry -  this jam is vibes and funtimes only, not a stress yourself out situation :))   Take your time, make what you can and hang out of the BGE community.   And don't worry about the language barrier, Ai is practically made for that.

Ayo! A game jam is basically a challenge to make a fun, functional game within a tight deadline. For this one, the main rule is to use the Blender Game Engine.

The theme will be announced a day ahead of schedule so no one gets a head start. After the jam ends, everyone uploads their game and votes on their favorites. BGMC tradition dictates that the winner gets to host the next one!

Since this is your first jam, feel free to ask around and team up  -it's not mandatory, but it makes the jam a lot more fun and manageable :))

yooo!!! Some cool stuff ^-^

Hi everyone!

First off, I did not expect this many people to join! It just shows how alive the BGE community still is.

Here are the rules:

What engines are allowed?
----- Standard BGE, Range Engine, UPBGE, and Armory 3D only.

Can we form teams?
----- Yes. I highly recommend forming a team, especially if this is your first jam  -it’s a great way to make friends.

Am I allowed to use premade art and asset packs?
----- Yes, provided they are free and publicly available online.
----- If you use premade assets, you must credit the original artists in your submission description.

Is AI allowed?
As much as it stings to say, it is 2026, so I will be setting clear boundaries:
----- Code and Engine Help: Allowed, though I still encourage asking a friend for help with Python and logic.
----- Art: Absolutely not.
----- Translation and Grammar: Yes. It is a helpful tool if English is not your native language.

Should I make a .exe?
---- Ideally, yes.
---- OR, if sh#t hits the fan, drop your .blend and make a clear note what engine and version it is :))

The theme will drop this weekend, so keep an eye on the jam’s community section and homepage.

Enjoy the rest of your week!

Time to get the chat going!
Let's keep all communications on itch.io since folk are from different forums, socials, and discord groups - so it would be best to have everyone on the same boat rather than updating everyone on different platforms.

Feel free to make teams, have a lovely chat, and share some videos or pics of older projects.

8 days to go, 8 days to set things up and chill. <3

More details will be given later this weekend ^-^

Thanks!  Unfortunately I have zero idea how to make a Linux port with the engine haha

The second one will be a mission to make public. Lots of cringe and copyrighted music.   It was made as a Bday gift for a friend :))
However, you can watch his playthrough:

Mind sharing the youtube link? It's fun watching other people play :)

Thanks yo!

Hi yall, I've gained a bunch of downloads today out of the blue. Would be nice to hear where folk heard of my game. Leave a comment or reply please!

Only way to get more meta is if Meta acquires this game hehehe.

Thanks for playing!

The engine I use has a really buggy physics engine; clipping will happen if the CPU is a bit slow. As for the speech bubble, I'm not gonna say anything :))

Glad you enjoyed it! I'd say it's a mix of Beginners Guide, the Insomniac museums in Ratchet and Clank, and then off course the developer commentary in Half Life

yeah, I wish I could add that, but I cant code to save my life hehe. I just went with the default settings.

Glad you liked it!!

I really wanted to implement subtitles, but I can't code hahaha.  Making any Ui with this engine is a nightmare.

Glad you enjoyed it!  This is my first time writing an actual script and planning stuff.  My main goal was to have fun and confuse people on what engine im using haha

The end had a few rewrites. Super hard to wrap it up in a short note hehe. Glad you enjoyed the story a bit.   I'd like to imagine Dan had a burnout and is chilling in a cabin somewhere:))

Thank you!! :)

Tanks!
