Thank you for playing. You make good points.

Your first point is great, yes I should make it so you need to use your Air Dash near the beginning. Great point. I'm not sure about the laser overheating...  I think it might be frustrating waiting for it to recharge. I'll play around with it and see.

As far as the enemies respawning over and over, I could limit it respawning only when the player dies and restarts at a check point. Another mechanic I'll play around with.

Thanks gain for trying Mega Mouse and leaving constructive feedback. I really appreciate it.

Hi, I just released the demo for my game Mega Mouse.
https://omegamouse.itch.io/mega-mouse

Players take control of Mega Mouse, a highly advanced android who's mission it is to infiltrate and destroy the core processing unit of the Shadow Cat's Data Centers across the Milky Way Galaxy.

Mega Mouse is a 3rd Person Action/Adventure game with puzzle elements.
Set in a haunting dystopian nightmare ruled by the Shadow Cats and their artificial intelligence technology.

I just released a demo for my game Mega Mouse. The story of the game is infiltrating and blowing up data centers in space. And no AI was used in it's development.

I would love to get some feedback for my third person action shooter project: Mega Mouse.

Armies of AI drones are powered by massive data centers scattered across the Milky Way. Their immense power is tearing holes in space, threatening all life in the galaxy. Take command of Mega Mouse, an elite soldier on a mission to hunt down and destroy every data center before it's too late!

Mega Mouse plays as a 3d third person action shooter with maze hacking puzzle elements.

Very simple controls:
-WASD to Move.
-Space to Jump.
-Left shift or Middle Mouse scroll to Air Dash.
-Left Mouse Button hold to Fire Laser.
-Right Mouse Button press to launch rockets. (Used to destroy enemy shields)
-Middle Mouse Button to use slow time ability. (Consumes shield energy)

*No AI was used creating Mega Mouse.

This is a demo of the first level. Fly into the first Data Center (Alpha 1),  destroy the crystal core and make a cinematic escape!

A cinematic I made.

My playthrough of the demo.

Okay, in update 19 I fixed it so you can go through the door.

OMG.  I was trying to make sense of your last comment, then I realized the first door you go through after the cinematic with Prime isn't opening!  Whoops!  I changed it last minute to automatically open instead of spawning a key, but I forgot to check the boolean on the door so it would open.  You've only played 20% of the demo.  I'll have it patched here in a minute.

I just realized I forgot to plug Limos' Lair.  Next patch.

I fixed these issues except the wall jump.  Until I figure out a work around, I included a question mark helper explaining how wall jump works.

Omega Mouse Zero is a 2.5D platformer with Metroid-Vania & RPG elements.
Embark on an epic adventure across the OmegaVerse on a mission to save all versions of yourself.  Only with their unique powers combined can they defeat their greatest enemy, the Cats In Black.

I've worked countless hours on this project and happy to share it with the gaming community in an early access free demo format. If you enjoyed playing Omega Mouse Zero please let me know and provide constructive feedback.  If you encounter and bugs in the demo, please let me know here so I can fix them ASAP.

Thank you.  Yes, I agree.  The AI needs lots of work.

Cool, looks retro.  What's your 30 second quest?

Very nice.  Unwrapping UVW's is the best part!  lol  .... not.

Thanks!  I don't know if there is a deadline or not.

Thanks, demo is coming out soon.

Thanks!

I'm looking for level designers.
