Cause it doesn't have to be, it can be a game with porn in it, or a game with sexual content, like how baldurs gate 3 initially had big free publicity due to its nudity, people bought it for the nudity, but ended up enjoying the gameplay and story

I always had the perception that games like these have a boring "actual gameplay" loop, but, the "tool booth" style is deceptively fun! Shame that its so basic in this demo.
I'm not sure if you have a more direct/official place to recieve feedback, but there's a lot of things I wish was shown here and that would be available in the future!
But first, the good things: Ambiance and designs are lovely, it all feels like how it should be, the modular clothings are inspired and the mix of traditional with modern clothes is an unexpected revelation! (Seriously, I really wanna know the setting and story)
Stuff I wish was shown here: More unique personalities for the characters, right now the only way to get reactions out of them is by "interacting" with them in different areas of their sprite, which, while it does serve the purpose of the game, it breaks the suspension of disbelief and leaves them one-dimensional... For example, Celestina, the most responsible character, likes being pat on the head, which, yeah, she's meant to be cute and cuddly, but the rest are harder to get a read on, but going in blindly and guessing has little consequence, which, again, works as a demo, but leaves the gameplay hollow. Why can't the adult sections also have engaging gameplay? Let the player BE the reason the characters feel good and trust them? (I do love how repeat visitors eventually built up trust, but more dialogue and consequence is needed to make this truly fun)
I wish this demo had more unique topology and dialogue windows, golden borders, and fancy writing... hell, maybe unique fonts for each character? And a bit of a slower pace, at least in regards to Caroline's story, sure, everyone's here for the same reason, but don't set a bad precedent either; The best, most momerable parts of a relationship, was the path it took to get there. People desire other people (hopefully) for who they are and the history they share, sure, it can be purely superficial, but throw bleeding hearts a bone, eh?
And one more thing: Dialogue variety, vocal reactions to each interaction (depending on how new/fast/often/trusting the player is when doing it) that shed light into each character's personality.
Stuff I wish to see in the future: Persistance!!! God this game would be amazing if persistance was an aspect of the gameplay. Be it letting faulty identification slide purposely (after pointing out the errors) influencing character trust/reputation, how quickly the player is to get handsy, maybe some interactable dialogue to define their personality, and... maybe boundaries? Wether they keep relationships professional, carnal, or let them get close platonically or romantically! (also, persistance clothes pocketing, I enjoyed keeping the underwear before letting them pass/letting them go LOL)
I also wish to see an overarching story, an in-game motivation for exploring all the features (Perhaps a cult hiding runes on unaware people, and you have to undress them to find them, instead of stereotypical contraband), some more exposition to the lore (Why does a monastery need a safety checkpoint? What is the religion about? Why do we wear such a DAPPER suit?). And a very neglected aspect of this genre: The protagonist's character and personality. They clearly are their own person, they are expressive, and have slim prescription glasses (in a fantasy setting?), so, who are we playing as?
(Side note: A reason I personally stayed away from these games is because either YOU are John Sexman, or you cannot ever relate to John Sexman. Maybe this game could have both as an option? A masked, lightly customizable avatar [Bald, shaved, short or long hair, and skin tones], and the intended main character, would be a good way to incentivize players to play again, and differently, without feeling like they're the ones who do all this? Escapism and whatnot)
I would love to see random events that interrupt the routine (an outside fight forces the character to stay with us, giving a window for dialogue, development, or just "fun", or a character comes to visit, and stays, like how Caroline did). And activities to do outside of work (Adventure game style, where you click areas and can interact with things, visual novel style is a bit too overdone in this genre. Go shopping, visit characters, hell, if funding's good, minigames where your own character can further a hobby and meet characters unique to it)
TL;DR: Make the characters have more of a unique voice, and expand the world beyond our little handsy box.
I'll be keeping up with this project! If I had a (sustainable) job, I'd donate to the cause!
(Also, I'm good with unity logic, if there's any chance I could take part in a project, I'd take it lol)
