Thank you! I mean to respond to this some time ago.

I love Rena.. I feel there are not many well-written psychotic characters by people who don’t experience psychosis so she is really interesting to me. I wonder what inspired 07th to write her in the first place! Same with Shion.. I hope he goes back to Ciconia really bad T_T I want to see how Ryu explores browness/Blackness in the way that he writes.. But I don’t think he will anytime soon.

I really love all your kind words!! I struggle to add on because I really agree with you! Thank you!!

Really beautifully written exploring a topic I’ve been wondering about amongst Black artists in online art communities. Online, white is still often the default which provides safety. It confused me as I aged. I’d meet people then discover they were Black and I had no clue. I really began to understand it more as I aged… Especially seeing how people react to Black art.

It’s weird seeing things like Blacktober increase in scale then grow quiet with no one talking about it either. I remember missing seeing my peers but not knowing exactly what happened.. I had feelings.. Seeing caricature art in the Blacktober tags tipped me off a little.

The overreaction parts really reached my heart. As a kid (and teen and adult), I outright rejected a lot of games that didn’t let me Black easily (elves in Mabinogi, animal crossing, many MMOs, etc), but it always felt like I was missing out. And you know.. People would see my outright rejection of these things and assume I was overreacting. It was disconcerting, but it is hard to describe because people assume your description is also an overreaction or a falsehood.

I am sending much love your way.

thank you. i’m really happy to have inspired you.

thank you for your kind words

It’s in the description, but here is a link for your convenience.

The word digital pet applies to people. Digital ghosts are mostly anime girls. It is fine and I encourage it!

beautiful

Don’t worry! My laptop is just weird. It’s not you!!!! I hope to give you my thoughts shortly 🙏🏾

You are welcome to submit work that you started prior to the jam, refresh old projects, etc. Just stay on topic.

To further elaborate, you can start early and do as much as you want as long as you do work during the jam period.

Thank you so much!!!

spoilers The CTC indicator was really fun! It’s actually one of the most fun aspects of the VN to see people react to.

Anisia was really interesting to write :) I’m happy you had so many notes on her. Her dialogue/grimoire likely had the most alterations during the drafting process.

Thank you again!!

Thank you for your lovely notes / drawings and for reading Veil of Mammillaria!

Depicting traits of psychosis and schizo-spec disorders is generally important to me.. I pushed it to the furthest extent I could here in a way I had not in my other works before. I really appreciate your kind words regarding this!!

Thank you for your kind words and thorough analysis!

spoilers Daizy was written partially with the thought of a woman who would avoid total submission despite not having the strongest mental dexterity to start off with. It was nice to write her circling and navigation of this .. Perhaps you could say it’s a woman who does not believe in fate who is going against two lesbians playing unfairly to prove the red string cannot be ignored!!

Thank you for thinking about this VN so thoroughly. I really appreciate it <3

You always word so succinctly Kyou. I'm happy you understand. Thank you for reading.

it’s allowed and collaboration is encouraged

It's fine! As long as your game suits this jam then its okay!

I gave up on making income from Itch.io due to the payment processing issues and deindexing problems that were never properly followed up on. I put a lot of my work on Steam, which has helped. Some people from here support me on Patreon too, but I still have a ways to go.

When the payment processing issues occurred, many 18+ developers who were making a living income on Itch.io were no longer able to do so, since their games got deindexed, and discovery was halted. T_T

1. No, just be reasonable and don’t spam smiles

2. Yes

Thank you. The slow deterioration of the backgrounds was fun. A lot was done for the sake of cognitive distortion. I'm really happy you appreciated it, even before I started completely blasting the images haha.

And the last paragraph means a lot to me too. I didn't want the red to be too strong. It was the hardest thing to really gauge since beta readers experienced it slightly differently. It was part of my goal.. for it to be kind of noticeable but also not. Smiles

Thank you Raveglitch (also hi!!! it's nice to see you)! We actually found Tascots but I was a bit worried about redistribution with the program because of the bundling/nature of the proprietary filetype, but it's very cool. I saw it in my scrolling and think it's a really good/more powerful alternative to Shimeji! You explained a good way to use it really well.. I'm going to discuss it with Oscar now!!

VirtualPeto is extremely cute.. You find such amazing things wow.  I'm surprised i've never seen it before.. Thank you!!

Into the resources list!!!

of course!

really cute presentation. i like the speaker going over why winter affects the robot and looking forward to warmer days for them ^^

really  lovely work that is beautifully presented as always. thank you for sharing

I like the tragedy that is explained very casually in this story while Sonya and Sofiya continue to live their lives despite the horrific things they have to experience. Living with someone who has a terminal illness is horrifying. I liked that it was a significant part of this story but the focus wasn't on the decline either. I do not see that a lot but it's something I really adore.

The CGs are all cute.. They make me nostalgic, and Sonya is cute in general. The details about her being made of silicone are pleasing.. I like the difficulties she has thinking about the nature of her existence in relation to Nia. I also like the unanswered questions and how Sonya isn't.. made to be burdened by them.

Thank you for sharing!

THIS IS AWESOME Your aesthetic senses are on point. Really amazing colors and gets across the desperation of the narrator.  JESUS.  This being 1.5k words is insane because it feels like it gets across everything it needs to do and leaves nothing out. Your writing style is also extremely strong as well. The irony of the story is really beautiful. AMAZING WORK

Extremely sweet and soulful. The size difference between the characters is extremely cute. Absolutely delightful! Thank you for making it ^^

Nvm it was firefox >_< It works outside of my browser haha,,

Hi ! I want to read this but the pages seem to be entirely black for me >_< !!!

Thank you for such high praise! It really means a lot! The theme really excited me for the reasons stated! Your words about Daizy reminding you of an IRL friend means a lot to me too!

Thank you! Good news!! It will  have Way More Meat!

I considered not sharing it but wanted to. I'm not sure I would've without works like Resist the Urge to Blow Up Your Life  ♡ Thank you for reading.

Really gut-wrenching and made me sick. It does feel like the .. torment nexus. I feel very sympathetic for the characters. The presentation is really awesome as well. Fantastic work as usual
