This is not a project. I'm just looking for game devs who want to try building their next game using Orbem Studio for their own project. Appreciate the reply though, if you're interested in learning more you can hit me up on discord orbemorder_54179

Sent you a friend request.

If you're not too far into the project I'd love if you built it on Orbem Studio. Top down pixel art games like this are perfect for Orbem Studio which is a free no-code web game engine that had live collaboration building with built in chat feature. There's also a built in art tool for pixel artists to draw/animate/edit game assets directly in the game. You get a free hosted URL you can use for building/playing/testing and when your done you can even export the game for monetization on itch.io or steam.

I'd be more than happy to offer full technical support and feature requests as you build out the game. If it's already too late definitely consider Orbem Studio for any future projects. You can check it out at orbem.studio

Good luck with your game either way!

If you're not too far into the project I'd love for you to build it on Orbem Studio. There's live collaboration with chat and you get a free hosted url for building/testing/playing as soon as you get started. Plus you can export to itch.io or Steam so future monetization is up to you. There's a built in art tool and .aseprite import capabilities as well so inserting animations/sprites from your artists is even easier.

I'd love to offer my full technical support to bring this game to life as well as any feature requests. You can already add double jump, create weapons for collecting/swapping including projectiles, but I'd be more than happy to add dash/grapple if you decide to try it out. If you want to check it out go to orbem.studio

Either way keep me in mind for any future projects and good luck!

Hey not sure if its too late for your visual novel, but I'd love for you to build your game on Orbem Studio. It's a no-code web game engine that let's you build your game visually with a free hosted url. You can even build it with others with live collaboration and a built in chat feature. There is a built in pixel art tool as well that lets you draw and insert directly into game assets. All Orbem Studio games can be exported as well for hosting on Itch.io or Steam, so you can monetize it however you want while maintaining the free url for building/testing/sharing.

I would love to offer full technical support and feature requests throughout the project so let me know if you're interested. You can check it out at orbem.studio

Hey I'd love to have your work listed for sale on my no-code game engine Orbem Studio. I have an integrated community seller system that let's game builders insert pixel art like this directly into their game assets without having to browser marketplaces. I think your art would be awesome to have. Let me know if you're interested.

Hey are you interested in listing your music for sale for game builder to use? If so I have a no-code game engine with integrated community seller system that let's game builders purchase and insert music direction in the game engine. You can learn more at orbem.studio/seller or ask me questions here.

Hey I'm looking for game builders like you who want to build game jam games to try my browser game engine Orbem Studio. I'll provide any feature request or technical support you need so you can make the best games you can. Let me know if you're interested or have any questions. You can check it out at orbem.studio

All you'll need is an email to signup with and a bank account to accept payouts. Depending on your country of origin you'll either setup your account with either Stripe Connect or Wise. Let me know if you run into any issues with setting up the payout account.

Yeah thats fine. Let me give you some more context.

I have a no-code web game engine called Orbem Studio that allows people to play and share their games as soon as they start building.

I've developed a community seller system that feeds pixel art directly into the asset selector so builders can purchase professionally made pixel art and insert it directly into their game while they're building. Builders can just click purchase and instantly use the assets in their game.

There is also a separate marketplace where builders can browse if they want https://orbem.studio/marketplace and you get your own creator page to share your listings with your community.

When you're ready I'd love to offer your work for the game builders to use. You can learn more or sign up for a seller account here:
https://orbem.studio/seller/

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Fantastic. Hit me up at scott.adrian@orbemorder.com and I'll give you some more details.

Hey I'm looking for game devs that are interested in building games using a new no-code web game engine. This is not an AI game generator so you'll need to actually put in the effort to build. You'll get a free hosted game you can build/play/share and I'm looking for feedback and feature requests as you bring your game to life. For more info you can check out orbem.studio and get started immediately. Hit me up with any questions!

Hey if you're interested in offering your art for sale for game builders to use let me know. Would love to offer your stuff on Orbem Studio.

Hey love your work. I'd love to have your work on Orbem Studio. If you're interested in offering your music for sale to game builders hit me up.

We have about 100 games in active development at a given time from purely organic traffic. Once the marketplace is full of all types I expect to 10x the user base through additional marketing so should have a lot of eyes on your content. Plus ROI is high since one listing can be purchased by multiple builders. Best part is the assets for purchase are injected directly into the builder by asset field type (like map image, weapon image, walking sfx) so you're not competing with newer unrelated assets when builders are looking at available assets for purchase.

Thanks! Feel free to hit me up when you get a chance to check it out at scott.adrian@orbemorder.com. Talk soon.

Hey everyone, I built a no-code browser game engine called Orbem Studio and I'm looking for hobbyist game devs to try building something with it, no experience required, completely free. You can draw your own art or use any art and music available from our built-in community marketplace if you'd rather not draw everything yourself, place it in your game, and it's live at its own URL instantly. No coding. or downloads.
I'm not looking to sell you anything or pay you for this, I genuinely just want honest feedback from real hobbyist devs about what it's like to actually build something with it. What's intuitive, what's confusing, what you wish it could do that it can't yet. If you've got a small game idea you've been sitting on, or you're just curious what a completely code-free web game engine feels like, I'd love for you to give it a shot and tell me what you think.
You can see what's already been built here: orbem.studio/games
And try it yourself free at: orbem.studio
If you build anything, even something small, I'd genuinely love to see it and hear how the experience felt.

Scott

If you're interested in selling your pixel art for game builders to use I'd love to have your art on Orbem Studio. Check out https://orbem.studio/seller for more information. You can get income directly to your bank account. The more your post for sale the more money you can make. Non-exclusive. Let me know if you have any questions

Hey would you be interested in creating the game yourself? I have a no-code web game engine that would allow you to use all of your assets and not worry about building any complex game systems itself. Plus you get to host the game for free on its own url forever. I would be more than willing to help you out along the way with the development and would not need any payment. Your game as another example of the game engine's power would be enough. You can learn more at https://orbem.studio Let me know if you're interested!

Love your art. Hit me up at scott.adrian@orbemorder.com

Got it. Why don't you email me at scott.adrian@orbemorder.com and we can continue discussing the project. Thanks!

Hey thanks so much for the reply. You games and art are great. Hit me up at scott.adrian@orbemorder.com and we can go over the whole spiel.

Hey, great question. There isn't a built in dice mechanic currently but the engine supports custom interaction triggers, item values, and mission logic that could replicate dice-like randomization through JavaScript. It's not a out of the box feature but it's something that could be built into the engine if the concept is a useful addition.

What kind of game are you thinking of building? That would help me understand whether Orbem Studio is the right fit for your concept.

Hey itch community, I'm looking to hire a pixel art game developer to build an original game on Orbem Studio and get paid for their time.

Orbem Studio is a browser-based no-code game engine where games live at their own URL instantly. No coding required. You focus entirely on the creative side, game concept, art, and design, while the engine handles everything else.

What you get:

- Paid project (DM me to discuss rate)

- Full creative control over the game concept

- Featured placement on orbem.studio/games

- Direct support from me throughout the entire build

- Your game live at its own URL shareable anywhere

What I'm looking for:

- Pixel art or 2D game art experience

- A genuine interest in browser and indie games

- Availability to complete a short project

- Willingness to share honest feedback about the build experience

The game doesn't need to be complex. A short polished experience that showcases your art style is the goal. Here are some games already built with the engine so you can see what's possible:

https://orbem.studio/games

I'm looking for higher quality experiences and non-AI art compared to existing games but you can see the game play abilities on that page.

If you're interested reply here or send me a message with a link to your work and I'll get back to you quickly.

Thanks

Scott Adrian

I know the 3 hour time constraint was rough for people using Orbem Studio for the first time, but we definitely learned a lot and I appreciate all the work you've put into trying to build a game. I'll definitely be holding more Game Jams in the future with better time constraints in consideration for other time zones. Appreciate you!

Uploading to Itch is simple. Go ahead and follow these steps to upload your game to itch:

  1. Go to your game incognito.
  2. Save page as "html only" named "index"
  3. compress index.html so its index.html.zip
  4. upload that file and use these config settings.

Here are the settings you should use:

Would love to see what people build. Happy to answer any questions about Orbem Studio or the jam in this thread.

Thanks!

Thank you so much for playing and for taking the time to leave such detailed feedback, this is exactly the kind of response that helps me make it better.

You're completely right about the boss. Standing and spamming heavy attacks was not the intended experience (good for testing not challenging lol) and I'm already thinking about how to fix that. The color switching mechanic idea is pretty great. I could add that as an option for the boss waves so not only does the boss attack differently, but he accepts different attacks. I'm going to explore that for a v1.1.0 update along with adding some maybe faster movement to the golem and throwing some goblins into the arena to keep the player on their toes.

Really glad the art, music, and golem voice (I love voice acting in my games) landed well. And happy it never felt cheap or unfair. That was important definitely to me.

A harder, more dynamic boss fight is coming. Thanks for giving me a solid direction to take it!

I developed a no code browser based game engine that make it fairly easy to put a game together (only limit is your imagination), but after I finish the graphics and game logic I get to make the music. I think its my favorite part. I feel like I can be the most creative there. Here's my newest game with some of the music playing. Old school synth arcade music is my fav. What do you think?

If you want to hear it in full you can play the game here:
https://orbemstudio.itch.io/one-wizard-wrong-forest

Hey, just released One Wizard, Wrong Forest, a short free browser brawler where you play a confused elderly wizard who wandered into the wrong forest. Fight through goblins and a tree golem boss to escape.

Takes about 5 to 10 minutes to complete. One person finished it in under 5 minutes so it might be too short or too easy. That's one of the things I'm trying to figure out.

Specifically looking for feedback on:

Did the difficulty feel fair or were there moments that felt cheap? Did you make it to the tree golem boss? Did the combat feel satisfying or sluggish? Was the length right for a browser game or did you want more?

Free to play in your browser, no download needed.

https://orbemstudio.itch.io/one-wizard-wrong-forest

Thanks in advance, any feedback is genuinely helpful.

Just launched a short fantasy brawler where you play a confused wizard who took a very wrong turn. Free browser game, about 10 minutes, has a tree golem boss. Would love feedback on the difficulty and combat feel.
https://orbemstudio.itch.io/one-wizard-wrong-forest

Really glad you finished it and thanks for the feedback. Already pushed a fix for the boundary issue so enemies should stay where they belong now. The boss glitch is on my list. 'Wish there was more' is honestly the best thing I could hear. Definitely have more planned. Out of curiosity did the difficulty feel fair or were there moments that felt cheap?
