Hi everyone!

We just released 300 A MONTH, a simulation and story game set in the near future, where AI training data pays your basic income.
You can play it for free in your browser:
https://oreumgames.itch.io/300-a-month

There is a CCTV camera in every room of your apartment, even the bathroom. Keep them all on and the AI pays you a monthly basic income, but your living costs eat all of it. To save anything you have to sell scenes the AI hasn't seen yet.

Every scene gets an AI freshness score. A bikini selfie is everywhere online, so it scores 7%. An 80-year-old doing morning exercises in swim trunks scores 96%. So you end up filming the grandpa, sweating the whole time.

The goal is 30 million won for a pistol. Buy the pistol and shoot every CCTV camera, and that's the ending.

It works on PC and on phones held sideways, and your progress saves in the browser.
Made by a very small indie team in Korea.

I'd love to hear which scene you ended up selling first.
Thanks for playing!

Hi everyone!

We just released Bowling Game, our third game on itch after FINGER KICK and FOOSBALL.

It's a 3D bowling game you can play for free in your browser:

https://oreumgames.itch.io/bowling-game

You drag the ball to pick your spot and flick up to roll it. Curve the end of your flick and the ball hooks. We wrote the pin physics ourselves, so the pins fly and knock each other down the way they get hit.

Just like real bowling, rolling it straight is harder than it looks. Even a tiny curve in your finger sends the ball hooking into the wrong pocket. 😅

There are 60 stages with target scores, 12 balls to unlock with coins, 12 missions, and up to 3 players can take turns on one phone or PC. Your progress is saved in the browser.

It works on phones too, held upright or sideways.

Made by a very small indie team in Korea.

I'd especially like to hear how the flick feels to you. Is the hook too strong, or just right?

Thanks for playing!

Hi everyone!

We just released FOOSBALL, our second soccer game after FINGER KICK.
This one is a 3D foosball game that you can play for free in your browser:

https://oreumgames.itch.io/foosball

The rods actually move and spin, so there’s no auto-aim. You can tap to flick the players, hold to keep them spinning, and pull the ball forward with the players behind it.

Sometimes the ball goes exactly where you want it to. Sometimes it goes completely the wrong way and you score an own goal. 😅

There are 60 stages with 12 national teams, a 2-player mode on one keyboard, unlockable kits and missions, and your progress is saved in the browser.

It also works on mobile, although I recommend playing sideways. The 2-player mode is PC only.

Made by a very small indie team in Korea.

If you played FINGER KICK, FOOSBALL is faster and more physical. I'd especially like to hear what you think about the rod controls.

Thanks for playing!

Hi everyone. I just released BUY JEJU, a free open world game that runs in the browser.

https://oreumgames.itch.io/buy-jeju

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tG2N40WbYeI

The idea is pretty simple. You play the youngest son of a Korean conglomerate family. You get sent to Jeju, the volcanic island off the south coast of Korea, with 10 billion won and a navy convertible.

Your goal is to buy the island.

Jeju is divided into 31 land sites. You can buy them, build on them, collect rent, and keep growing your property. The game ends when your property reaches 100 billion won.

There is also a bit of a race involved.

A village broker will call you when a property suddenly goes on sale for half price. Once the call comes in, you have limited time to get there. The time depends on how far away the property is, so sometimes you have to drive across the island as fast as you can.

If you get there first, you get the land cheap. If you are late, your rival Tamna Development gets it.

A rush listing from the broker, with the timer running

There is also a girlfriend.

She grumbles non-stop that Jeju is the countryside and that she wants to go back to Seoul. But as you keep making money her attitude slowly changes — that is one of the fun points built into the game.

On foot in a market crowd, with the girlfriend and the cat

A few things in the game:

  • one continuous version of Jeju with no loading between areas
  • you can drive or get out and walk around
  • your girlfriend and a cat follow you when you’re on foot
  • Korean shop signs, convenience stores, black pork restaurants, oreums, stone walls, tangerine fields and haenyeo
  • buildings generate monthly rent
  • the game saves in your browser
  • English and Korean
  • about 30 MB, made with Three.js
  • no installation or account required

This is my first attempt at making an open world game, and getting it to work was much harder than I expected.

The early versions weren’t just rough. Some of them were basically unplayable. I rebuilt parts of the game over and over, especially because the world kept getting bigger and the loading time kept getting worse.

I eventually got the first load down to around five seconds, which was a pretty big relief.

I’d really like to know two things from anyone who tries it:

How does the initial loading time feel on your machine?

And does the timer for the half-price properties feel fair, or is it too harsh?

The same game is also available on my own site if you’d rather play there: https://oreumgames.com/en/games/jeju/

Thanks for giving it a try.

That naughty rooster! The controls are simple, but the game is fun and bright. Enjoyed it, nice work!

I really like games where you piece together puzzles and clues from the environment and the objects around you, and this one has exactly that, which made it a pleasure to play. I would love to make a game like this myself someday.

Hi everyone! I just released FINGER KICK, a free browser game you can play with one finger.

https://oreumgames.itch.io/finger-kick

It's table soccer with slingshot controls: pull a piece back, let go, and it flicks toward the ball. You get up to 3 flicks per turn, so you can pass, set up a shot, and finish.

- 3-minute matches

- Mouse or touchscreen, one finger is enough

- Real stadium crowd sounds while you play

- Your best records are saved

- English and Korean

Made by a tiny indie team in Korea. This is our first game on itch.io, so I'd love to hear how the physics feel, especially on phones.

If you want more crowd sounds recorded in stadiums across Europe and Brazil, plus a portrait mode, there's a version on our own site:

https://oreumgames.com/en/games/fingerkick/

Thanks for playing!
