I can be in any position. I usually let my clients decide the budget and I just roll with it. But to put in numbers I'd say it'll be 50-100+ for backgrounds and 30-100+ for characters it really depends on the details and negotiation. Since I could get expensive but I'm open to negotiation since it's bulk commission, my hourly rate is 8usd, and per one character full illustration, it'll be Headshot-35usd Bust-55usd Half-80usd knee-90 Full- 120usd.
