Confirmed: Harold's strongest soldier 🫡🫡🫡

Thank you so much!! (Also, I love your profile pic 🪼)

Wishing that all your ant-related wishes come true! Thanks for playing!!

So glad to hear that you found it intuitive! This is so thoughtful, thank you for the kind words!!

Thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed!! 🐜✨

Have been absolutely loving Groove so this is SUCH an honor, thank you!!

Thank you!!! 🐜🐜🐜

So glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for playing!! 🐜🐜🐜

Wow, thank you for the kind words!! Also...

LET'S GO TRIOS!!! 🗣️📢

This game is so much fun. I really appreciate the game feel overall, shooting feels good, dashing through attacks feels good, and in particular I just really enjoy when the heart ricochets off walls, haha. I actually don't have much to offer in the way of critiques, aside from maybe having tankier enemies flash when getting hit for visual clarity (I thought they were deflecting my shots at first). That, and I want more stages post-jam! Great work!!

So glad that you found it accessible! Thank you for playing!!

Thank you so much!!

(P.S. The ants think you're lovely too)

Who knows what's in store for Harold next?! This is such a nice sentiment, thank you for sharing!

Thanks so much! 🐜✨

Thank you so much for the kind words!! 🐜✨

I had to save the most devious curveball for last! Thanks so much for playing, Drew!!

Wow, thank you for the kind words!!

Blocking and striking to reverse the clock hands feels SO good. Seriously, the feel of those actions specifically is so good that I played through again after beating the boss, lol. The only issue I ran into was standing too close to the center and getting stuck on the inner purple hands as they spawned in at the start of the final phase. A nitpick more than anything (and maybe I could've dodged out of it and freed myself if I'd thought on my feet?), but disabling hit detection on the hands during that brief window before they start moving could potentially help with that. All around, great game with awesome game feel!

Appreciate the detailed feedback! I'm inclined to back the logs in particular, since you only move in one direction through them and the intention is for you to rely on the rhythm during that time, but the mushrooms which obscure a turn in the line definitely ask a lot more as far as scanning ahead goes, which I've since realized can be tricky when you're trying to focus on internalizing the rhythm. If we return to the game at any point post-jam, I'll definitely take that into consideration when deciding how to arrange those props. Again, thanks so much for the thoughtful review!

We briefly discussed the idea of challenge levels with sped up versions of the tracks, but it wound up being panned for time. Might have to revisit the idea at some point! Thank you for the kind words!!

This is super thoughtful, thanks so much Rise!

(Believe it or not, this came straight from the ants!)

Thanks so much for helping out with playtesting! It made a big difference in how the game turned out. You rock!!

A chart editor is SUCH a fun idea, and totally doable with the way I have things set up (with some light restructuring)... I might have to do that post-jam. Thanks so much for playing and for the kind words!!

Thanks so much, I’m glad you had a good time with it!!

It makes me so happy to see that it's resonating with Rhythm Heaven fans! Thanks so much for playing!!

Thank you so much for the kind words!! 🐜

(1 edit)

Thanks so much!! Once I'm done playing jam games, it's back to attempting a Perfect on High-Five Fever... I'll get it one of these days.

Even ants need to get a little funky from time to time! Thanks so much for playing!!

I've been all over Rhythm Heaven Groove, so it makes me so happy to hear the comparison, haha. With regard to the theme, I think of it in the high-level sense that rhythm is based on counting out meter, but I digress. Thanks so much for playing and offering feedback, trav!!

Lol, that's me! You got this!!!

Thanks so much! So flattered that you're all enjoying it, it's made everyone's day!!

Rhythm or not, you made the band in our hearts. 🫡

Thanks for playing!!

Yay!! So glad you liked it!

Thanks so much!! 🐜🐜🐜

Wow!! Thank you for the kind words!!!

If only we'd had more time... 😔

Thanks so much for playing!!

That's awesome! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, thanks for playing!!

I'm a big fan! I'll echo the sentiment that it would be nice to have a score tracker of some kind, but that's only because it's genuinely quite fun and I want to stoke that competitive flame in me, LOL. The music sets the vibe perfectly, and the scuttle animation really brings it all together. Great work!!

I'm thrilled to hear it! Thanks so much for playing!!
